tonight and this week things got very dark, tense and damp down in the mine.

This week\'s episode featured a disastrous flood in Wheal Grace mine, which many people on social media found to be rather distressing – while also reminiscent of another media phenomenon.

But thankfully, things didn\'t quite end in the same way as Ross (Aidan Turner), was on-hand to spot the warning signs before anything too terrible happened. We didn\'t want another Jack moment on our hands, after all.

Elsewhere in the latest instalment, there was seriously sad news all around as Caroline found out her daughter is going to die, and then Ross revealing that he has to leave for London again, which did get the tears flowing.
