’ seventh season focuses on what the girls will do to save Hanna, who was kidnapped in the season 6b finale. And the answer might be … murder?

In the promo, which was posted on the show’s official Instagram account, the Liars can be seen digging a grave. As Emily says, “I don’t know if I can live with this.” Spencer — who gets a visit from Mary Drake in the promo — informs her, “There is no other way, Emily.”

It seems whatever happened, the girls had a plan. But as Spencer puts it, “When it ends like this, it’s called murder.”
