Tell them آپ were checking the school's anti-excuses policy. It sounds idiotic but it worked for me. Also tell them آپ actually have your book رپورٹ but you're just checking...

lollll I already used that excuse a hundred times at least xD (always worked)! I'm sort of an expert in homework excuses ^^ I'm trying to change that (by doing my homework) and no the teacher would never call my parents I'm a bit too old for that ^^ but thanks anyway for the help :)
