Are آپ a strong independent woman who don't need no man?

I'm not a woman...I'm somewhat independent...
"who don't need no man" is a double negative.
Though, I don't get how strong is connected to independent women. Women who are married can be strong. Don't get how men who are single are considered losers instead of just being a strong independent man.
