Whats your style for icons?

I love doing شبیہیں where I desaturate everything except the hair and eyes and then give those some cool effects سے طرف کی messing with the contrast یا doing some stuff with the engrave tool.

Here is one of the ones I'm مزید proud of.

It seems like everything I make یا use is either

A. Feminine as fuck
B. Derpy and stupid
C. Dramatic

I guess my "style" یا "method" is just that I apply my pre-existing art and photo-manipulation knowledge whether I mean to یا not. Sometimes I learn knew things.
In general I try to evoke a certain feeling and what exactly I'm trying to do depends on the icon.

I'm particularly focused on composition, colour, and lighting, I think. Probably mostly composition. Since شبیہیں are a bit limited in how much آپ can control the picture- unless آپ want to do a full on photoshop job with it which is a lot of work for an icon- I think it's most effective to focus on how the image sits in the frame.

The first one I cropped/coloured actually literally only a few hours ago, the سیکنڈ one I literally just cropped because it was so ridiculous on it's own, and the last one I played around a lot with the values and light ذریعہ that were already there. (it was originally a 100x100 size but I blew it up since the others were 200x200. The one in the corner is the actual size.)

Maybe dark romantic?? I don't know honestly lol xD

Many would come to mind but the ones I can think of right now are:

1.Personality/mood defining شبیہیں
2.Vibrant شبیہیں (Like that lily vocaloid شبیہ a while back)
3.Badass character (Like the one I have now
4. یا insert پسندیدہ character face as a شبیہ (Regardless of what fandom it is)

Well, it really varies. I wouldn't say that I follow a specific pattern. There are various factors for choosing شبیہیں like my mood at the time, need to دکھائیں love towards a particular Character / subject یا my relatability. While I دکھائیں faces most of the time, I haven't been making them being that close even though lately, I am considering it مزید XD I just like having a مزید detailed displaying of the Character for others to see. Kinda hard to explain but pretty much, I am going to choose whatever appeals aesthetically to me. آپ know, like certain color combinations, cheerful smiles یا the exact opposite XD Whatever can give me that much of a dynamic vibe at the time to the point of actually making it my Icon.

I guess, if I had to mention one preference of mine, that would be my displaying of Waifus XD I'm pretty sure most have realized that the majority of my شبیہیں is comprised سے طرف کی them. Certainly, I have just as many Male Characters that I consider my پسندیدہ but it just so happens that Females have taken the lead for now !!!!
