QotD 40: What character tropes do آپ tend to like/dislike?

The whiners that hardly do anything and blame their misfortune on others

IE: Shinji Matou from Fate

And I generally like the vast majority of tropes beside the first one but I do like devil may care characters who have an angsty side.

IE: Homura from Senran Kagura.

I hate it when characters need to be actively stupider than they are just so an episode یا story can have a conflict. It's why I hate the first season of Steven Universe so much مزید than season 5, despite season 5 having a whole lot of problems of it's own.

As for what I like, villains who have a goal that is just as morally just, if not مزید so, than that of the heroes, flipping the whole thing around. A perfect example would be any of the NeiR games

I hate the OP characters trope as they usually well, have no character. Most of the time they are bland and good thing some have amazing personalities.

I always like the underdog trope, I even sometimes like them better when they lose as it shows that they are only human and their outcomes may be unpredictable like ours. It makes them worth rooting for.

I also dislike the dumb blonde unless he یا she is a really good comedy relief, like really good.

I Like vampires, complicated/mysterious characters
I Dislike the ones who are too cheerful/friendly

Happy, Innocent, good, nice, friendly, a little dumb at times, and adorable!!! ^^


Dislikes:

Mean, Seems innocent and friendly but turns out to be rude and selfish, completely stupid, and disturbing...

I really like mean characters that have the potential to change later on. یا characters that seem like they would be mean but are actually really nice.

I don't think I have a character trope I dislike. I don't really hate characters to begin with; I'm generally just indifferent.
