In general, male rats are larger than females and are less active. They will generally cuddle مزید where females tend to run all over the place. Males are مزید mellow lap rats. However, there are exceptions to this, some males are quite active while some females are مزید laid back. I currently have 5 males and have had both males and females in the past. Like all rats, آپ should keep them in groups as they are very social animals and need the companionship of others. In rare instances, some rats need to be alone due to fighting, but, as I said, this is rare. Of course, there will be bids for the alpha role, but that goes for males and females. Typically male rats get along great (it's male mice that have issues living together). Here's a pick of some of my elderly boys.
I've been told male rats are cleaner then females, but I only have had 2 female rats and my first one was a sweetheart. I could do anything with her. Also if there are مزید then one male rats in a cage they'll probably fight with each other.

Male rats do NOT fight with each other. They need to be together as they are social animals. Male mice, however, can fight together.
Actually they do. I went to school to study animals and at my first دن when I cleaned the چوہا cage there were about 3 males in it and all of them had little wounds of fighting with each other. Not all of them, but it's also not the case they never fight
Males are just like the females, well not really, but they aren't much different. Males have been known for their gentle nature. I have 6 male rats and they are all very friendly. I used to have some females and they took a little مزید time to tame. They are friendly too though. Male rats are less likely to get mammary tumors so they don't need to be fixed unless put in with female rats. That is about all I know.
