'Stranger Things' and 'Parks & Rec': Jean-Ralphio is Steve's son, star says

premiered on Netflix, fans have half-jokingly theorized that Hawkins, Indiana cool kid Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) is the father of

goofball and Pawnee, Indiana resident Jean-Ralphio Saperstein (Ben Schwartz). To prove whether this connection might be true, James Corden recruited 

host Nischelle Turner to interview Keery and Schwartz together on Thursday’s edition of 

Schwartz and Keery showed up to this interview wearing the exact same outfit, a coincidence made even stranger when both professed to have made their clothes themselves. After a few questions of Turner pointing out similarities between the characters and the actors, Schwartz came to the realization: “You’re my father.”

“You guys realize this is impossible, right?” Turner asked. “Ben, you’re older than Joe!”

But the guys were too far gone to listen at that point. Cue a montage of father-son things, like Keery teaching Schwartz how to shave and ride a bike.
