Three weeks later…
I opened my eyes and looked at my calendar. It was December 24. Christmas Eve. It was also the three week anniversary of my mother’s death and the week anniversary of her funeral. I sighed and felt the locket on my neck. Today, it would gain two مزید pictures. I changed into a red سب, سب سے اوپر with some nice jeans and some converse. “Hey Batman! Ready to set up the tree?” I asked cheerfully. This was the happiest I’ve been since my mother died.

“No problem” I flew out of the lounge and to a storage room. Batman opened the door and we walked in. He started picking up a box, but it was to heavy for him alone. I grabbed the other side and helped him carry it back to the lounge. We opened the box and I looked in. It was the biggest درخت I’d ever seen.
“Uh, Bat’s. We might need back up” I said. He laughed.

“Megan!” I managed through gritted teeth “It’s me, Alex!” She immediately stopped fighting.
“Alex!? I am so, so, so sorry!” Megan exclaimed. Batman and Connor ran in.
“Next time Bat’s, you’re waking Megan up” I کہا as I passed him.
“Okay team. We need to set up the Christmas tree. Megan, you’ll take the middle, Alex will take the سب, سب سے اوپر and Connor will take the bottom with me” Batman کہا when we got to the lounge. Batman and Connor set their piece up first, then Megan put her’s on, the finally, I flew up and put the سب, سب سے اوپر on.
