Worth part IV
"Drop point A has landed," Aqualad reported through his ear-com.
"Copy," M'gaan کہا back,"advancing to drop point B." The clip lines retracted and I new without seeing it that the bioship was gone. I searched the blue sky through the leaves of the canopy, catching a glimpse of black swooping toward the west. I looked around myself to see the others already heading into the thick trees. I jogged to catch up.
Our troop was mostly silent as we tramped through the undergrowth. I trotted up to Aqualad, avoiding Artemis's glare.
"So," I said,"what's the plan?" He looked down at me (he's really tall) and nodded ahead.
"The دیوار is only a half mile away. When we get there, we get over. Then we wait for the others to signal us, get inside, and find the Weapon."
"Sounds simple enough," I commented.
"Except for the motion sensors, laser rays, watch towers, guards, and security cameras," Lucas said.
"Yes," I agreed, "except for that."
"Don't forget Cobra," Artemis said.
"And his other henchmen," Superboy added. It was the first time I had ever heard him speak.
"Other henchmen?" I asked, curious.
"Yes," Aqualad added, "mutants affected سے طرف کی cobra-venom." I nodded as if I totally understood. This mission suddenly seemed very dangerous. Cool.
"Do آپ guys do this often," I wondered aloud, "or do آپ just enjoy the occasional death trap here and there?" Suddenly I was yanked back behind a درخت سے طرف کی the ڈاکو, ہڈ of my jacket. A hand clamped over my mouth.
I looked around furiously, about to pull out my hidden blade. Aqualad stood اگلے to me, not held captive, standing flat against a tree. He put a finger to his lips in a shooshing motion. I nodded and the hand released me. I spun around in annoyance, meeting the hard eyes of Superboy. He noted my glare with a shrug and looked away. My eyes grew in surprise I followed his gaze to a ten foot دیوار completely covered in vines of ivy and topped with coiled wire. Peeking over the سب, سب سے اوپر was the roof of a watchtower.
I mentally kicked myself for almost blowing the mission before it had even begun. Artemis, who was crouching behind a log اگلے to Lucas, gave me a smug look as if she had predicted my mistake.
Aqualad caught my gaze and nodded to a tall درخت overlooking the wall. I nodded back and trotted to the tree. I leapt onto the lowest branch and then up the others until I reached a large branch toward the top. Careful to keep to the shadows of the canopy, I crept forward, praying the branch would hold my weight. Going as far as I dared, I was able to get a pretty good glance over the wall.
Before me was a courtyard. Being longly unattended, it was covered in tall گھاس that easily reached 6-feet. I was able to catch a glimpse of the building through a hedge off trees and. It was covered in vines just like the wall. I noted the watchtower, another just like it in another corner of the compound. I backed further into the shadows as I realized there was a guard in the nest of both structures. They were garbed in red robes and black masks covered the upper halves of their faces. They hadn't noticed me. There were no other guards that I could see.
I signaled an all clear to Aqualad and he nodded to Artemis. She sprang up after me, climbing one branch higher. She pulled two arrows from her quiver and released it at the first tower. The guard dropped without a sound. She quickly shot the second.
Artemis leapt off her brach and over the wire, landing in a crouch and trotting through the tall گھاس to the watchtower, standing against a post and nocking another arrow. With approval from Aqualad, I followed her lead.
Lucas followed and Aqualad appeared over the barrier on a برج of water. Superboy jumped over as if it were an easy hurtle. Once the boys joined us, we crept around the building with Artemis at point, keeping close to the wall. When we neared the corner Artemis quickly rounded it and released her arrow, then stood back. After a moment she peered around the corner and gave us a nod. From there Aqualad took the lead. After ten meters we came to a door leading inside. Our leader pressed two fingers to his ears. "Robin, we are here," he spoke softly.
"Roger that," I heard the teen over my com. "Motion sensors off and door unlocked." The door clicked. Aqulad opened the door and held it open for us. Artemis shot two guards as she entered. The hall had blank, white walls, tiled floor, and several doors lining it. The lights were off, though the sun's rays filtered through a window down the hall. I heaved a sigh as it occurred to me phase 1 was over. We were in.

“When we take revenge against another, we lose some of our innocence”, that’s what they tell me. So I guess I lost all of my innocence. Oh well, I lost it early, might as well have gotten rid of it. See people throw random quotes everywhere, a lot of them don’t seem to apply to me.
“When آپ get knocked down, pick yourself up and brush yourself off,” I pull the legs of the person who pushed me, bringing them down too.
“It takes 42 muscles to frown, 17 to smile, and 4 to مککا, عجیب الخلقت the person,” And it only takes 4 مزید to snap their necks.
Catch my drift? Good.
My name is Agony
And this is my story.

Toxic: Don’t follow us, please . You’ll get your selves hurt! Dick, Kyra, Nicole, Bruse, I’ll miss آپ guys, آپ were my family, my heven. To the team, I will never forget the time we spent together, fighting and messing with eachother. From fangirling over RvB with Blade to pranking Fang, I’ll never forget آپ guys.
Demon: I had just met آپ guys, but the few that I had were great. Please don’t help us, آپ will get killed, and we wouldnt be able to stop it. It was nice while it lasted.
So on that note, Delta and Brant are dead. But they left Toxic and Demon. Better luck اگلے time, heros.
Goodbye,
Shadowa
