I grew up a Catholic and hated it so I kinda stopped believing. Then one day, my friend invited to her church, learned more about Jesus and decided that was the path I wanted for my life. :)

why is the "am not a Christian" option available? If they're not a christian, why are they a fan of this club?

I used to be an athiest believe it or not and then i don't know i just had that feeling like something was there watching over me, protecting me and guiding me because everything was miraculous what was happening to me, so that's what's made me into a Christian today :) that was about when i was 7 or 8 maybe abit older :)

abs07 picked I received a Revelation from God:
The more I read God's word, the more I see that God abhorred religion; and Christianity emerged as a stand against all the religious Pharisees so I didn't wanna pick the "Religious Experience" option because Christianity is not a religion. I grew up in a Christian family and technically called myself a Christian but looking back, I know it was just me living my Christian life vicariously through my parents - which is nothing but religion and rituals. I didn't have a personal relationship with Christ until I received a personal revelation from God after many astonishing dreams. I've had my backslides/ups and downs as a child of God over the years since then, but I can say with confidence that I am a Christian woman and I know there's no going back.

I rew up as one, and over time...
bratski2192 picked I rew up as one, and over time just offical became one....:
I grew up getting taught about God, even going to Church with my grandparents, & singing songs such as *Jesus Loves Me* with my late grandmother. I thought I was saved when I was a kid, cuz I loved to sing Christian songs, & hear stories in classes, but I vaguely knew about the Bible stories (only about the Earth's beginning, Elijah, Jesus, & that's about it).

Then, I only went to Church occasionally, but was a member of the Salvation Army for awhile when I was 10-11. It really became hardly at all by then. I didn't hear about accepting Christ as my Savior until I was 16. I looked up stuff about it, & asked my uncle about it, since he read the Bible all the time, & had/has strong faith & beliefs.

After that, my grandpa got sick. I started not taking life for granted, but stuck more to my grandpa's side, helping to take care of him. I knew for a fact that he truly loved/s the Lord with his whole heart. I found his Bible entries, which included a lot of bookmarks, & favorite verses, plus hymns. I began to pray at least once a night, asking The Lord to keep my grandpa with us for a bit longer, cuz he's a fighter. Mine, & my family's prayers were answered when he survived for another year & a half, but he still got sicker, increasing his hospital visits. My grandpa was a very stubborn person who didn't wanna accept that he needed to be dependent when it came to his walking, so he got up in protest, which led to him falling more than once. We refused to send him to a nursing home, cuz his primary doctor thought it wasn't a good idea. We took care of him like we were supposed to, but tried not to get on grandpa's nerves. On one of grandpa's last checkups, the doctors said he couldn'tve been in better hands when it came to his care. He is the only man of his whole family in recorded history to make it past age 61, let alone to age 70. I thanked the Lord so much for keeping him in our lives longer, for the moments we spent with him thru thick & thin, & for gramp's quirks.

It broke my heart when he died, but that inspired me to truly accept Christ as my Savior, for all the things he did in my life, others' lives, & my grandpa's. Since about October 2010, I've been officially saved, & got baptized in November. I thank The Lord for all that He does, for dying on the cross for an undeserving, bratty sinner like me, thru His mercy, & blessed grace, I am saved. He lives always. I love you, Jesus. <3

I grew up being atheist but then realized that there was something missing in my life. So I studied all the popular religions and found the biggest amount of comfort and inspiration in Christianity.

My family is not religious, but my friend brought me to her confirmation, where I heard people do things called "Faith Expressions" where they talk about how God has helped them and then slowly I started to believe after that experience.

I grew up in a Christian atmosphere. Admittedly, believing in Christianity didn't really hurt me. But I now wish to be open to exploring other views. Hence why I'm a Deist.
