Childhood

10 سال old Walt (center right) at a gathering of Kansas City newsboys in 1912.
Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 to Elias Disney, of Irish-Canadian descent, and Flora Call Disney, of German-American descent, in Chicago's Hermosa community area at 2156 N. Tripp Ave.[3][4] Walt Disney's ancestors had emigrated from Gowran, County Kilkenny in Ireland. Arundel Elias Disney, great-grandfather of Walt Disney, was born in Kilkenny, Ireland in 1801 and was a descendant of Hughes and his son Robert d'Isigny, originally of France but who travelled to England with William the Conqueror...

I was experimenting with the someecards format, and these happened.

So here are a few Disney Truth Bombs, of varying degrees of truth and image quality, ranging from serious to not-so-serious. Hope آپ get a nod یا a smile out of 'em.

You think the only people who are people,
Are the people who look and think like you.

(Colors of the Wind, Pocahontas)
Oomp, there it is.

The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else's lake.

(Under the Sea, The Little Mermaid)
Humans want to be mermaids. Mermaid wants to be human. Preach all آپ want, Sebastian, that's just the way it's always...

30. Savages - Pocahontas
Really great song. It shows both sides of a war and how the two groups are thinking similar thoughts about each other. The lyrics blatantly دکھائیں the insanity of racism and how wrong it is to judge others because they aren't like yourself. Plus, it's really catchy and I sing it in the shower.
29. Once Upon A Dream - Sleeping Beauty
Great, romantic duet. Really cute how Aurora sings it with her دوستوں and then her dream prince joins her and surprises her. The scene where they dance and آپ see their reflections in the lake always makes me feel good inside. I love this...

I decided it was time someone wrote the فہرست for saddest disney moments, so here goes. Someone else wrote the same مضمون that I completely disagreed with (half the moments were from the little mermaid) so I decided it was time for me to write my own article. Disney is known to make people laugh and cheer, but also for making people depressed and making them cry. I have cried at numerous disney films, because all of them have their sad moments. Some of my choices may surprise you. Disney is famous for it's sad moments, but to me, none are مزید sad then the following list. I hope آپ like my...

MALE STAMPS

Aladdin (Aladdin)
Aladdin is portrayed as clever, and ultimately a good-hearted person. Like most Disney male protagonists, he is a brave young man who seeks to win the affection of many other characters, which demonstrates his insecurity. He can be selfish and indignant at times, which is shown through the wishes he makes. He is not above lying and stealing, but never with evil intentions, but in order to survive. The biggest difference from the norm is that, unlike most youthful Disney heroes, he is a doer rather than a passive character
Words to describe Aladdin: clever, good-hearted,...

Alice (Alice in Wonderland)
Alice is portrayed as being very curious. She's often seen daydreaming and gives herself advice instead of listening to the advice of others. The closest thing Alice has as a friend is Dinah, her cat, and not even she understands Alice's dreams of finding "a world of her own". Alice is well mannered, polite, courteous, mature and has an elegance and gentleness of a young woman, although once she falls into Wonderland she finds it harder and harder to maintain her composure. She is shown to be determined, but her determination is often overpowered سے طرف کی her temper, seeing...

Since most of the Disney princesses are derived from fairy tales they have gone through many transformations before Disney took their stab at it. I’m going to use the stories I grew up on as “the original”.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
In the original Brothers Grimm story the evil queen tries three times before the poisoned سیب, ایپل to kill Snow White and fails, ones with a poison comb, once with a murderously tight hair ribbon and another time with a similarly tight corset. Each time she is saved سے طرف کی the dwarves. Disney also gets rid of the queens violent smashing of the magic...

Okay, so I'll try to write an article. As much as I love Disney, one of the things that I am most attracted to in a movie is the music, and of course آپ have to have a good singing voice for that. So this مضمون is just of my سب, سب سے اوپر 10 favourite Disney Singing voice (the عنوان is a big give away ^^). Oh, if آپ happen to hate the Hunchback of Notre Dame, I suggest آپ don't read this! Also, this is only for characters that speak. There are lots of voices through (usually) End Credit Songs that would be in this فہرست if they actually had been characters.

Just missed the cut: Belle (Paige O'Hara),...

Ok I have been a پرستار of Disney since I was about 5. In my time I grew up watching the likes of Aladdin,Pocahuntas The Little Mermaid(released in 1989), The Lion King, Tarzan and of course Beauty and the Beast which was made when I was 6 months old lol. What I like about the past Disney فلمیں is that each story that goes with the movie is usually centered on our lives. For Example:

1# Pocahuntas: Indian Princess falls for sailor while her father doesn't like him.

Reality part to it: Falling for someone from a different background e.g Jewish,Traveller etc.

#2 TLM: Mermaid falls for human while...

Well, technically, a playlist for each season. Just doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

Below are four lists of Disney songs that either have lyrics that apply یا just have a vibe that I associate with a particular season. This is سے طرف کی no means a complete list, as I have only included songs I'm familiar with that feel seasonal.

SPRING
Spring songs are light, bright, and probably nature-related.

A Whole New World (Aladdin)
Following the Leader (Peter Pan)
For the First Time in Forever (Frozen)
Little April شاور (Bambi)
Part of Your World (The Little Mermaid)
Let's Sing a Gay Little Spring Song...

Hi all,

My family are massive Disney شائقین and we recently embarked on a marathon of the Disney canon. We're currently as far as The Three Caballeros and here is my review of the first animated classic (I'm also posting these reviews on my blog disneydad2.blogspot.com).

A Disney Tale: A young princess narrowly avoids death on the command of her evil stepmother. She shacks up with a group of mining dwarves but the stepmother finds her and puts her to sleep with a poisoned apple. The dwarves put her inside a glass coffin until a prince comes and kisses her, releasing her from the spell to live happily...

Finally, my "Top 10 Classic Animated Disney Movies" is finished! Why would such a simple فہرست take مزید than an گھنٹہ to write? Because I had to watch all the فلمیں on the فہرست to determine an official order, of course. That's totally normal, right? That's what the voices in my head tell me. ;D

#1 - Peter Pan (1953)
A girl being forced to grow up is visited سے طرف کی an orphan and his pixie friend who whisks her and her brothers away to a fantasy land filled with mermaids, Indians, pirates and orphans dressed in adorable animal costumes.

Wendy was nuts for wanting to come home. There, I کہا it....

Disney Heroine: There is no real 'heroine' in this story and in fact, the only female characters are the Blue Fairy and Cleo the fish.

Disney Hero: Pinocchio is the 'hero' of the story, in as much as he is the main character. His heroic actions, though, don't really occur until the final act of the film where is saves...

There's just something about the quality and authenticity of an old family movie that can't be replicated nowadays.

Disney produced a looot of great live-action and hybrid فلمیں over the years, but they always seem to get overshadowed سے طرف کی the animated ones. (Not to knock the animated movies, I have a فہرست of those on the way too.) Here are my سب, سب سے اوپر 10 live action and hybrid classics, for that good old fashioned Disney feel:

#1 - Candleshoe (1977)
Starring: Jodie Foster, Helen Hayes, David Niven, Leo McKern, and Vivian Pickles
Casey Brown is a parentless delinquent living in Los Angeles with...

Why are so many of your mothers either dead یا of the evil step-mother variety, Disney? I had to dig a little to come up with this list, but behold! 5 great motherly figures from Classic Disney movies!

#5 - Wendy Darling (Peter Pan)
Voiced سے طرف کی Kathryn Beaumont, 1953
A mother is someone who cares for you. Wendy certainly does that for her brothers, and for a while, the Lost Boys too. She has a vivid imagination, and encourages her brothers to be creative and to have fun. At home, she tells stories of Peter Pan and Neverland. Once in Neverland, she tells the boys about their mother so they...
