Hello fellow TVD fans!We are less than a week away from episode 3x01 titled "The Birthday"and I know that the excitement is too much to handle.Lets recap a little bit ,shall we?

Waaaaaay back in May "As I Lay Dying"was one of the most anticipated episodes of season 2 and there is a reason why!Actually scrap that...There were many reasons!
1.The Ripaaaaah! - Stefan was responsible for Damon becoming a vampire in 1864 so when he found out that his brother was bitten سے طرف کی a werewolf he felt obligated to find a cure.Even if [To quote Katherine Pierce in 2x22]he had to sacrifice everything including Elena to save his bro.In the penultimate scene we see how Stefan was fighting the Rippah inside of him and in the end he gave in.
2.The Delena kiss ❤- need to say more?
3.Jeremy and his dead girlfriends.To keep it short - Jeremy died ,he was brought back to life and now he could audition on linkthe remake.That last scene in the S2F was so shocking that I even had to تلاش for my jaw on the floor.When I first saw the back of Vicky , I thought it was Katherine.But then when they showed her infront I was like "What.the.hell's going on?"Then Jeremy went downstairs with Vicky following silently in the back (spooky)and he saw Anna , my facial expression was link

After such a finale I was surprised that it only got like 2 and something million گیا پڑھا مرتبہ live.And yes I am aware that TVD was up against American Idol but there are other reasons.Many residents in the USA don't realy know when TVD airs so they watch it on the Internet and others tend to DVR the دکھائیں and then later watch it.

But are ratings even important?
Yes, they are really important.They are the reason whether TVD gets renewed یا cancelled , whether the CW will increase the دکھائیں budget, whether Elena will wear the same blue sweater all season ,whether we receive good edited یا bad edited episodes , whether we get good actors(guest starring actors یا even regulars) ,whether we get amazingly decorated sets,whether we get good effects on an episode and so on.As آپ can see ratings are مزید important than they seem.And if آپ don't believe me check Ian Somerhalder's tweets from April , 7th saying that watching the دکھائیں live will secure its future.

But TVD is the number one rated دکھائیں on the CW at this moment.
True , but compared to the ratings we had at the begining of season 2 and the whole season 1 we won't be soon (Shows like Ringer and The Secret دائرے, حلقہ have the potential of getting us of the throne)+The higher the ratings, the better we get =)
Ok.So how do we help in getting مزید viewers?

1.WATCH THE دکھائیں LIVE!DON'T DVR IT AND THEN WATCH LATER. آپ can DVR the دکھائیں but watch it live! Please if آپ have the chance - do it.

3.Promotion.The CW can make 10000 promos but the truth is that شائقین have a big part in making the دکھائیں famous.No wonder everytime there is an award دکھائیں the actors say that they wont be here if it wasn't for us.If آپ follow some of teh advices bellow it might help TVD get مزید شائقین = مزید views:

- Tell your دوستوں that TVD is a great دکھائیں and it deserves a shot =)

- link TVD on Facebook.It may not seem important but when your fb دوستوں chech your پروفائل they will see that آپ "like" TVD and they may give it a chance.

- Give جوابات to people who ask when does TVD air.Believe you'll be surprised how many residents in the USA don't know when TVD airs and on what channel airs.

- Favouriting TVD ویڈیوز on youtube also helps.Because late they appear on the front youtube page of your yt دوستوں and subscribers.

- Talking about TVD on twitter ,tumblr ,myspace and all other social networks helps =)

Why should I watch episode 1 of Season 3?

Well if the ratings aren't a good reason for آپ then reading this link(spoiler alert for those who don't want to be spoiled) of the episode will help you.Or watching link amazing promo یا link mind blowing one.The episode will also feature Elena's birtday,The Rippah going on a murder spree with Klaus,lots of Delena scenes,Naked Damon,Forwood(Warning:You gotta take a cold شاور after seeing them in the promo),Catt,Alaric (the chunky monkey's back),Jeremy dealing with Anna and Vicky ,lots of blood and hotness,Bonnie or/and Katherine (hopefully!) and ofcourse I haven't forgotten آپ Stelena fans.Even though I know some of آپ want to boycott the دکھائیں because of the many DE scenes coming up (which I don't mind lol) As a DE پرستار I think that Julie and Kevin will feature one یا atleast 2 good scenes for you!(Otherwise how do آپ explain that pic from the set?) =)And if thats not enough, from the gathered info I have from interviews, Elena is not giving up on Stefan just yet.She will have him on her mind during her Birthday for sure.
