Sure, she gets a few high notes, but pretty much all of her songs are in chest voice, which tends to be an alto specialty. If a fictional couple can influent your views on actual relationships in real life let alone "ruin" you for something it's none of said fictional couple's problem but more likely your personal issue that you need to be working through. I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, I was rather unpleasantly surprized to learn that so many people dislike Pocahontas and label her as boring. In my opinion she is a realistically flawed character with actual depth who doesn't cross the line into being too extreme when it comes to her choices and decisions but doesn't sit on her butt doing nothing other than moping and whining about wanting to have an adventure either.
