When Elsa is hugging Anna's frozen 'statue' she should have briefly sang something like "Yes I wanna build a snowman... come on let's go and play.." though that would have been extremely depressing.

Maybe. I think the timing of the songs in Frozen is odd. There are 3 in the first 15 minutes, and none in the last 20 minutes. Maybe a short reprise could bring on the melancholy.
I still think the reprise of Life's Too Short could have been used, even though the first version was cut out.

^ I think that too, it really lowers my enjoyment of the film. There's a bunch of songs at the beginning and then it sort of forgets it's a musical halfway through.

It could have done with or without it. I do see scenarios where it would have been unneeded, though there are others where it could have made a scene more impactful.

I think it would have been sweet if they did it. Even if is just "Yes I want to build a snow man." I would have been fine.

I always thought it would be way too cheesy. And god knows Frozen doesn't need anymore cheesy moments.

i agree with Mongoose09, it would have been a kind of apology from Elsa.

There's an instrumental reprise again at the very end, when they're all ice skating, and I loved how that song kind of bookended the movie.

I think it would've been cool if Elsa asked Anna if she wanted to build a snowman at the end for a reprise.

They should've had one at the end. Me and my friends literally said that when we watched the movie. It would've fitted Elsa and Anna skating around happily.
