Is it really wrong to have picks asking people to read your مضمون یا to answer your question?

Ever since I joined Fanpop a few months پہلے I have heard about rules of some sort and I was wondering how people know what is taboo and what isn't. Which goes along with my سوال because I have read مضامین supporting these kinds of picks, but I recently have a read an مضمون that states it is against "the rules". I would really like to get clarification on this matter and if possible the actual فہرست of taboo things. Thanks in advance for help and sorry this is so long.
