Did the Monica/Chandler relationship surprise you?

I was too young to watch it when it was originally showing, and before I got really into it, I saw a few random episodes, so I knew about Monica and Chandler before they got together. So, I'm wondering, for those who didn't know what was going to happen, if they were surprised, یا they saw it coming یا any other reaction:)

It was definately a big surprise, they are so different, Monica is so organized and cleaning addicted, Chandler is so messy and sarcastic.
But at the end, they've worked out very well, Chandler really grew up in the relationship and it seems they were meant for each other.
Besides, it's a better couple for Monica than Joey!

I was absolutely surprised. I didn't see it coming although they had کہا in much earlier episodes that they would hook up if they were still single at a certain age. It was a good storyline.
