Libby really confuses me!

MIB for sure but I really want to know about Richard! How he got to the island, why he does what he does, and why doesn't he age?!

Adding to the whole why doesn't he age thing, I want to know what MIB's desire to have him come with him is.
Oh and Libby cause I've been wondering that since season 2!

The Man in Black confuses that heck out of me. I'm not buying this "one side is light, one is dark" business anymore. I'm not totally sure that Smokey is the ultimate "bad guy". But I don't trust him, either. I mean, remember when he destroyed Eko? Anyone who can do that is not to be messed with.

But when I was reading link, I came across a line that stuck with me:

So, what's really up with MIB? Is he really without sin? Is he actually just a total and horrible bad guy? Was he really once just a man? Did Jacob imprision him on the Island? Was it for "the greater good"? Are we reading too much into this? Who knows.
