Background: Nora was born in Qeacaba as a child from 'breeders' within the sex industry of Qeacaba, being branded the name "May" to mark her by her birth month. She was particularly bred for her beauty and to be adorable as a child. She was raised in captivity like livestock away from her parents until she was four where she was sold of to the pervert who offered the most. Like many others, she was bought and 'used' for three years until her owner figured she was too old for his taste and put her back on the market for the next person. To her luck, the Stevenson family, a family who took part in a large drug company, bought her without the intent of using her to satisfy their perverted desires. Instead, they took her in to raise as a child, much as they did another young girl from the violent areas of Qeacaba who never even got named. Being taken into the family, she was given her future name "Nora" and moved May to being her middle name with the pronounciation of Mae. With this, Nora and Lu, the other girl, ended up being raised together as daughters of the rich and wealthy family. Around the time Nora and Lu were coming to be adults, their parents died, leaving their massive inheritance to the two of them where they used firstly to not have to work in the corrupted city and to take in a few other children as a way to rescue them from a long horrible life. Their plan was to live off the money like this, then move to Pendallan or Terrador to escape the dangers. Background: Lu was a child smuggled out of Terrador from a trader who wished to obtain some of the drugs brought from Qeacaba in exchange for human lives. With this, Lu was quickly offered off as being a perfect child to eventually take part in underground (or well in Qeacaba not so underground) fight clubs where she was essentially brutally and roughly trained to eventually go and fight. Because of this, while growing up, she wasnt given a name and wasnt taught to read or speak properly. Despite this however, she turned out to be a trouble child as she would often be reluctant and even sometimes rebel causing her to be put on the market and sold off to the Stevensons to meet a young girl slightly younger than her named Nora. During her time in training she did learn basic english from the yelling and shouting, but wasnt comfortable enough at speaking in anything but defiance so she was quiet. Despite this, her adoptive parents and Nora quickly grew onto her with their affections and she reluctantly grew close with them. However, while Nora did grow past and develop her wishes away from her past, Lu grew an attachment to the sword and decided that from that day on she would be Nora's protector. Since then she did manage to take down a few people that werent happy with her beliefs, actions, and character but eventually failed to save her, thus ending in Noras life.

Background: Gano was the third Prince created back when the nation was new and under its original rule - however in the start up of the nation, many of the member and the order of Jigoku didnt hold out so the two older members and one of his younger members died out in the first fifteen years of the nation. Leaving him the leader at the age of 15, and the only member from the ages 16-24. Despite this, and because of the tough and demanding situation at the time, Gano quickly learned to do what he had to and quickly began to manage and take care of the duties by himself - also eventually, with the help of a few knights and Seraphims, taking care of and teaching Aujia when she was born when he was 24. Then two years later, he added Nagare to it, and more and more children came to fill in the ranks. Because of this, he established a strict order and way to go about training each of the new members, establishing the mask tradition, specialization of duties, and strict "coming of age" methods to make sure that his family of Princes ended up growing up and developing strong. This ultimately drastically cut down the amount of Princes that would fall to their dangerous missions and quickly made it so that Gano was a highly respected "Dad" of the princes.

Since it was the protocol of the mafia for years to pass on the title to the offspring and it was even addressed in meeting, Edric quickly took the title up and used his power just a short month after getting it to obtain the identity many know as Nole William Talbert - an orphaned child whose parents got kidnapped into the sex market. For the most part, Nole had a normal life, however due to his dreams in show business and his parents concern for his well being living in a heavily corrupt nation, they sent Nole off to one of the most "pure" and safer (at least as you get for Qeacaba) cities to peruse his interests and dreams. However, upon moving over, the safer cities of the nation just so happened to also be mostly filled with elderly and, upon noticing this, Nole added it to his goals to regularly help out and see what he could do to help the city.

Background: Bryce was a child born in the slums where a lot of gang violence, drug usage, and addicts of various forms were often born. This was something that he really couldnt escape since that was the best kind of home that his family could afford and thus, rather than teaching him how to have a peaceful life, Bryce was quickly taught how to defend and kill if he had to. This quickly lead to him knowing a lot of the roots on gang life and how certain communities and organizations functioned and ultimately caused him to grow a small group of friends that watched out for eachother. Abilities: Mieko possesses the ability to project her soul out of her body for both observation and attacking. Using this ability, she can scout ahead, give herself a birds eye view, and even launch invisible attacks on her enemies in addition to the attacks from her physical body. In order for her to still be able to use her body, her soul and her body are connected by a thin strand and if this strand is severed by an attack that can damage the soul, she will be unable to return her soul to her body. There is a limit to how far away from Miekos physical body the soul can travel and if enough damage is done to Mieko while her soul has left her body, it might not be able to re-merge with her.

As a last resort attack, Mieko can send her soul out in multiple pieces to attack from many different angles at once. The maximum she has ever done this has been 19 and splitting her soul like that comes with a massive amount of risk


[ HISTORY ]

Background: When Mieko was born, she was brought before the gem like every other child and it determined that she was to be a Prince. At the time, there were five other Princes, including Xavier who was only five years old at the time. Because he was the closest to her age, Xavier and Mieko would spend a significant amount of time together, although Xavier would become much closer friends with Lukhail. Perhaps it was Xaviers influence that made Mieko the playful person that she was. She had a very strict face which gave the impression of someone who wouldn't know fun if it came up and smacked her on the behind, but Mieko was actually quite fun loving. As a child, she would often play pranks and go exploring, sometimes attempting unsuccessfully to follow Xavier, but as she grew older, those childish tendencies were replaced with a more stable love of games. Games of chance were her favorite, but after playing a game with Gano who scolded her for attempting to use her powers to peek at his cards, she decided...to find easier prey, which led her to Aujia. Aujia was a perfect match of a gambling partner for Mieko because as much as Mieko cheated with her abilities, Aujia could just cheat right back with Grankurk.

Despite having grown up significantly, Mieko still had an attachment to Xavier and as she grew older, that attachment grew from friendship to admiration to an eventual longing that she tried her best not to categorize as romantic. Mieko struggled with these feelings until she eventually saw Xavier leaving far too often for the Tengoku side of Handan. This was too many times for him to simply be talking to Lukhail so Mieko followed him. As she expected, Xavier was too skilled and she lost him every time, but eventually he let his guard down and Mieko spied from a distance as he got close to the girl in the bar...too close. At that point it became clear to her that Xavier didn't think of her in that way..not in the way he seemed to think about that girl in the bar.

Mieko tried to distance herself from Xavier after that point. It would make no sense to talk about things to him because all it would do is put him in a position that was completely unfair. It would be rude and disrespectful of her to demand that from him, but she also felt that she needed to warn him that he was on a path to ruin as a Jigoku and a Tengoku being in a relationship was less making waves and more organizing an underwater earthquake while the tsunami sirens were disabled.

Mieko continued to struggle with it for a long time, but as it turned out, she didn't need to discuss it with him at all because Xavier was betrayed by Lukhail and exiled while the girl from the bar....was to be killed. Reila was almost not the only one with the death sentence as Mieko had every intention of storming Tengoku and taking her revenge for what was done to Xavier. In fact, it took all the strength and wisdom that both Aujia and Gano possessed to talk her down and keep her that way. She initially turned down the change to taking Xaviers spot as the 5th Prince, but in the end she didn't have a choice. It didn't stay that way because almost immediately after they made it official, Usano vanished, leaving Mieko as the new 4th Prince of Jigoku and Liliu as the 5th. Mieko had no real opinion about Usano other than that he scared her, but Liliu being given XAVIERS spot was almost more than she could take.

Background: Gianna was originally born under the name Alex to an impoverished single mother who gained most of her money from prostitution and promptly lost all that money to the various casinos in the nation. Turns out that her mom, as stupid as she was to fall into the dangerous cycles of Qeacaba, was also dumb enough to unknowingly trespass into one of the neighborhoods known for powerful Gagliano Familia members in which irritated a lot of the neighborhood with her door to door unwarranted attempts to sell herself off - especially with a three year old girl tailing around behind her. Its because of this that a direct family member of the Gagliano Family took charge of it, had her quickly assassinated, cleaned up, and brought the young daughter. Seeing no better place to put her, the daughter, Alex, was taken in and renamed officially as Gianna Gagliano. With this, Gianna became the adopted daughter and niece of the main Gagliano family.

Being part of this family and her sheer respect for her new mother, Gianna swore loyalty and gave her heart out to becoming the best member they could have. On many occurances, she was offered to become the heir and to be raised as such since the Don and his wife did not have any kids. Despite this, she did not feel it was right and denied this. Much to her relief however, they eventually did have a kid, a young healthy boy who was named Edric. However, due to their busy schedules, Gianna often was asked to watch over him as he grew up and quickly did notice a lot of oddities in the child. Even from a young age he was clearly not wired as most children his age would and was most definately more gifted than the average child. In all honesty, despite being fifteen years older than him and having been an active highly valued member of the Gagliano Familia since the age of three, watching, caring for, and taking care of Edric always made her uneasy. Something about him always really creeped her out, but it was probably that instinct and sensation that kept her alive in the long run. She never fully turned her back on him, and often looked out to learn all his traits and eventually, it paid off.

Around the time Edric was ten, the Gagliano leaders and parents died from a dirty poisoning that she herself was the first to walk in on. Edrics parents were dead, face into the table, with Edric, playfully humming on the dining table - seemingly very proud and amused with himself after his actions as he seemed to nonchalantly state he did it because he was bored and that he figured that made him the leader now. At first, Gianna was hesitant to just accept it, but having raised and watched over Edric as long as she did, she was it coming and long since figured that since she was put in charge of him many years ago, it was still her duty to take care of him. And besides, while he was frightening, she did grow a bit attached to Edric much like a little brother of hers - a creepy, psychotic brother.

With this, she aided Edric in his path to take control of the Gagliano and ultimately became the face / second hand in the massive market, threatening the other officials and servants who came in to keep the means of death a secret from the rest of the Gagliano family and anyone else. Shortly after a year of being in power normally, Edric moved off to live on his own, using Gianna as the person who he worked through.

Grankurk comes with two other 'forms' of sorts. He can either take upon a human form which his speed and strength are boosted - however at the cost of loosing his invisibility capabilities and loosing the benefit of the massive size. Background: Blair has been a troublemaker since before the day she was born. Due to complications of her mothers pregnancy, the Sky Rider had to make a detour to seek the medical help of a Qeacaban medical professional. What they got instead, however; was something far more effective as two of the most skilled medical professionals in all of Qeacaba, Delaila and Iona Voclain, handled the treatment personally. With the help of Delaila and Iona, the pregnancy was brought back under control and proceeded smoothly until Blair was successfully born. The Sky Rider expressed their thanks and things seemed to be going well. Unfortunately, such a lame ending was not suitable for Blair and from the moment she learned to walk, she was seeking out adventure, often being found in dangerous for forbidden locations for a child her age.

Around the age of ten years old, something incredibly interesting happened. The Sky Rider took on a refugee from Handan at the request of a super high ranking official. Blair knew about this because she happened to be hiding in the rafters of the building they were in eavesdropping on the conversation. Therefore, Blair was immediately prepared and when Reila was brought on board the Sky Rider, Blair was one of the first people to meet her. Blair wanted to know everything. If that pale girl with the umbrella was as big a deal as she seemed, then Reila must have a fascinating adventure to tell. Blair loved adventures. She wanted to experience a magical adventure of her own and while the Sky Rider traveled all over the world and between various nations, the peaceful encounters did nothing to appease the stars in Blair's eyes.

Reila didn't have time to answer before Blair was shooed off by the adults, but after that point it was a near constant stream of interruptions by Blair as she attempted to get Reila to share her story. After nearly snapping from the pressure of having possibly the most boring job in the world and the incessant nagging of the ten year old determined to get information, Reila gave in and gave Blair a little bit of the story, but leaving out the bits she wasn't ready to talk about yet. After that, Reila quit her job and Blair, having detected a hint of annoyance in her voice and assuming she had the full story, left Reila alone and went to go dream about herself having a similar adventure.

It was at that time that Reila was working on becoming a city guard in the Aerial Corps that Blair discovered that there was a nation that even the Sky Rider avoided. The Dardohar. It was a nation of pirates that sailed the waters looking for treasure and booty! Blair instantly became enamored with them and the subsequent change in her attire caused much worry for the higher ups of the Sky Rider and Blair's parents. At that point, Blair once again met up with Reila who had finally been given a permanent position as a city guard and she would often catch Blair doing things she wasn't supposed to do, be it carrying around a dangerous weapon or shooting her toy gun at imaginary opponents. One time, Reila even had to stop Blair from "raiding Leia's booty" as the hapless girl snuck into the Sky Rider leaders room to take some things. The two of them were together so much and Blair had such genuine affection for Reila(who she believed shared a similar passion for adventure) that Leia requested that Reila take charge with keeping an eye on the girl. Eventually this closeness would form a deep friendship between the two as it is well known that if two people spend enough time together, they'll either become friends or enemies.

Background: Usano was raised much like the rest of the Princes were, however he quickly was found to be a little more distant from the group than the rest of them as he didnt take part in nearly as many shenanigans as both his older and younger 'siblings' did but rather preferred to get work done, then relax or watch the rest of the group interact. For a while, he served as a leader and a frequent field partner with Xavier when it came to capturing and rendering a creature helpless for many years. However, a few months after Xavier was banished, Usano abruptly vanished from his post, leaving little behind other than a farewell address stating that he would not be serving under the new Divine Judge as he does not agree with her character or policies. Background: "Ah hello, Xerxes. What an unexpected pleasure," Joseph Belmonte said to the new current leader of the Gambling Market of Qeacaba. They were in one of the Office Rooms of one of Joseph's nightclubs. It was a typical night for the club, packed solid with those wanting to drink, dance, or fuck their troubles away. That was what Qeacaba represented. It wasn't just anarchy, it was an amusement park of a nation designed to console those of the knowledge that their world had been lost to the darkness and all they had was this small bubble of protection...protection which Joseph safeguarded. All the while, the rhythmic beat of the music from the main floor could less be heard through the walls so much as they could feel the vibrations it was causing.

Xerxes pointed down towards his feet. "I always loved this song," he said which brough about a jovial laugh from the older man.

"YES! I absolutely agree. Kids these days just don't comprehend that music is more than an auditory experience. It's sexual. It's emotional. It should be felt with their whole body and all of their souls...and their soles, now that I think about it."

After a polite chuckle to Joseph's joke, the conversation died down as the two powerful men stared at each other. It was like a hapless little cub challenging the older lion leader for control while the rest of the pride carried on in ignorance. Xerxes had his usual business smile on his face while Joseph's expression was more thoughtful as he thought about the man before him. Being as old as he was, Joseph knew the stories and backgrounds of practically everyone in Qeacaba. He knew of the existence of Edric, a son to the recently deceased Gagliano leaders was alive and and that he was more than met the eye. Surely when he grew older and took over the family business, the Violence Market would become a force to truly be reckoned with. He knew about the Voclains and the little orphan girl they took in and have been raising as their own. And Xerxes...he knew about Xerxes as well.

Xerxes was born with no power or influence to speak of. His parents were the type to fully back the Qeacaba national sport of indulgence. It didn't matter what it was, they were willing to try it. This often led to them amassing various amount of debt which they would pay off by gambling and winning big. Whenever they didn't win big, they would move to another district. This was all well and good until his family indulged in something they shouldn't have when Xerxes was 2 and ended up in debt to the Gagliano family. They had to win and they couldn't afford to be careful about it or they would end up buried wherever it was that the Gagliano family put their unpaid debtors. Normally during their gambling trips, they would simply leave Xerxes at the place they were staying and if they didn't win, they would have enough time to return there to retrieve him before fleeing, but with the Gagliano family on their case, they couldn't afford to return to that home or it would tip them off that they were making a run for it. So this time, they took Xerxes with them to the casino and it was then that Xerxes was given his first exposure to gambling. Even at that young age he was fascinated and it showed when his family was about to lose. Xerxes stepped up and told his father what move to make. It would be incorrect to say that his father had nothing to lose by trusting Xerxes at that point. It was more like his family had too much to lose to not try everything they could. And it worked. They won and it became clear that Xerxes was a gambling prodigy.

Joseph's musings were interrupted as Xerxes motioned to a chair. "May I sit?" He asked, and after a nod from Joseph, he made himself comfortable and nodded at Joseph.

Joseph placed his elbows on his desk and interlaced his fingers as he looked at Xerxes. "Now then. What can I do for you? I love getting visits from young friends, but you are very busy. Surely you don't have time to be casually dropping by."

Xerxes made a light bow of his head as acknowledgement. "As leader, I have the supreme authority to do whatever I like and visit whomever pleases me...but you are right in this instance. You see, I heard from some of the other leaders and general word of mouth that you know the most about this nations gem and, more specifically, how to access it from inside that fountain."

"Anyone can access that gem with the right amount of force"

"That is true, but even the violence market fears any accidental tampering with the gem. If it were to be damaged, our entire nation could end up as food for the monsters."

"And this is where your request comes into play?" Joseph already knew what Xerxes was getting at, but Xerxes, it seems; still wanted to play the game as he waved Joseph back while laughing.

"Oh no, this isn't a request. I merely am stating that I and a few of the other leaders would feel more secure knowing the exact means of accessing it-"

"Cut the crap, Xerxes," Joseph said flatly. Xerxes' eyes widened a little and he did indeed stop talking. "If you truly were worried about how the other leaders felt and if they truly were speaking through you, you would not have sought me out so late at night. You would have called a joint meeting between all of the leaders. An open forum. A truly even ground."

Xerxes was always like this. He never let anyone use him for long and he always found a way to get on top. After his parents discovered Xerxes' natural talent at gambling, they were quickly able to get themselves out of debt with the Gagliano family and from there they indulged even more because they could just send Xerxes to go win enough money to pay for it. Xerxes did not mind the arrangement at all. Money didn't matter to him because he could make do with even the smallest amount so long as he could afford the buy-in. This was all for his fascination with reading people, with the concept of gambling, with the risk of losing everything, even your life.

In a way, the El-Veera family created their own downfall. When before, they relied on their own abilities to get them out of the trouble they created for themselves, now they expected everything from Xerxes. It was only a matter of time before Xerxes would grow old enough to decide to ditch the leeches and continue on his own.

"You're right," Xerxes said. "I guess it was silly of me to expect you to believe that. I don't speak for the other leaders. I speak for myself. I trust you, Joseph...but it would be remiss of me not to point out that you having sole control of the gem cannot possibly end well. What exactly is to stop you from running your own experiments on it? What happens when you step down? Can your eventual replacement really be trusted with it?"

"I hear you, Xerxes," Joseph replied. "You want to know how to access the gem." Joseph rubbed his chin and looked Xerxes up and down. He lived up to his reputation. "Do you know what separates our gem from the gems of Handan, Pandallan, The Dardohar, or any of the other nations?" Xerxes shook his head and Joseph continued. "The Qeacaba gem has remained untouched since it's creation. No one was even aware of the gems existence until we interacted with our neighbors who had their own gems. At that time, our predecessors began to look for our gem, and that led us to the fountain. The very center of our nation."

"And they said a booze fountain was tacky."

"Precisely. How many people do you think walked within a few feet from the gem every day back then? Hundreds. How many do you think do so today? Easily over a thousand."

"I understand this," Xerxes began to say, but Joseph cut him off.

"The gem is safe. The gem will always be safe. Yes there is a way to access it, and yes I know what that way is, but as our nation is right now, that knowledge means nothing. There is no need to worry, Xerxes."

Joseph's words were met with sudden movement from Xerxes as he stood up. Xerxes turned away from Joseph and rubbed his hand roughly through his hair. After a moment of thought, Xerxes turned back around to face Joseph. "You'e right." Xerxes said again. "I must have been worried over nothing. How about we spend the rest of the night enjoying some of your fancy liquor and playing a couple games. I really do enjoy talking to you, Joseph. Let's catch up, okay?"

Joseph smiled. This was how Xerxes handled problems of every sort. Especially the problem of his parents. It happened when he was eight years old. His parents had come back from another long night of frivolity to see Xerxes was home, busily counting his winnings for the day. His parents had come to expect this kind of thing from Xerxes and told him to put the money away as they were going to bed, however; Xerxes had something else in mind and invited his parents for a friendly card game. They were exhausted, but despite everything, they still loved their son so they were willing to give up sleep in order to keep Xerxes happy. Xerxes loved his parents too which is why he wanted to risk losing them. Obviously they lost and Xerxes asked for just one more game, with a wish being given to the loser.

Xerxes won...and his wish was for the souls of his parents. That they would never indulge again and would not be able to leave his side for all eternity. His parents laughed it off, but soon realized he was serious. They tried to scold him. They said it was just a game, that the bet wasn't for real. Well, Xerxes had dealt with cheaters before. People who didn't want to follow through on their end of the bargain once they lost. It was commonplace and understandable that his perfectly normal family would be those kinds of people. He didn't hold it against them, instead he merely gave them the punishment they required for backing out of a bet.

Personality: Eliza is known strongly for her shy and introverted behaviorism around other people, may they rank higher than her or not. It is because of this that she does not tend to do too much direct leading herself outside of in Tengoku-Jigoku meetings with the Divine Judge or strictly within the Seraphim unit. Despite this, she holds a strong love and obsession towards Azura which can often get her quiet voice out there. It is because of this obsession, love, and desire for Azuras affection and approval in return that she can sometimes be seen in an entirely different light. This can go from stepping up and speaking freely to flat out anger spikes. It is well to be noted, that Eliza can sometimes be considered a yandere.

**To add to that on a more unrelated note however, Eliza is the highest scoring performing Seraphim in the group. She scores the highest on the regular testing as well as the testing that required her to become a Seraphim. Along with this, while it is hard to get her to confidently show it, her combat skills have been notably on par with some of the Princes themselves. It is this that gave her her position

Background: Eliza was born into being a Seraphim just as the other Seraphims had. At the time, it was her, Azura, and then two older higher ranking members. Of those first two, there was the head Seraphim, his lieutenant that ran the Research Department, and few dominions that, while ranking Dominion, were given permission by the head Seraphim by their skill to take part and temporarily serve as a Seraphim until further places were born. By the time she was born, Azura was already an official Seraphim, holding the position of 3rd with places four through seven being filled with Dominions. It was because of this, that Eliza grew a bit of a timid, insecure personality of hers. Sure, two years later, the daughter of the Divine Judge Yume would join their ranks, but outside of royal blood that was often busy with special training, she was raised primarily around much older, absolutely prophetically gifted individuals. Compared to them, she felt that she was expected to be at their level despite her being notably younger and thus grew up with a notable anxiety when it came to properly demonstrating her skills of any form as she felt that maybe the gem misplaced her. Instead of going out, she tended to recuse herself into her room for what turned out to be multiple days at a time as she ran through her books.

However, when Eliza’s training as a Seraphim ended up forcing her to come out more and interact with the other younger Seraphims, older Seraphims, and psuedo Seraphims, something began to form. It was only a small conversation or two at first, maybe better called ‘a lesson’ or two, but the bold, confident, dominant, leading, and beautiful Azura caught her eye. Being everything she herself wasnt and being everything Eliza herself wished she could be, she quickly grew a massive idolship of Azura. This idolship became a massive passion and motivator for her to go against her comfort zone and, most importantly, work in an attempt to gain Azura’s attention. This inspired the already book-worm Eliza to throw open her books more often, absorbing material one after the other, acing her tests, and writing the most stellar reports most of her higher ups had seen. It was all good and all, but it didnt get her any closer to being any closer or gaining any special attention from Azura. She had tried the normal method of trying to start up a conversation, but between her feeble and nervous stance and her stutters, most of those conversations ended with Azura walking away saying she was busy.

Frustrated with this, Eliza continued to excel, quickly making all the basic academic needs as a Seraphim far before any one would qualify her to be able to test into her place where she began to expand deeper into the slowly developing branch of Research and Development and towards finding out the biological anatomy of the creatures that plagued the earth a while ago. She picked up her combat and, while she always failed in front of others, practiced on her own in the night time. Still, things werent moving. She was putting her whole effort to impress, but came with no results. She couldnt figure out what even went wrong with everything that she was doing, and that is where she turned to her abilities. With that, she decided to step back a bit from her academics and focus on figuring out her abilities further, testing them on simple things like plants first, then to simple bugs, then to animals, and eventually to humans. And this solely made her admire Azura more. With this, she could see how well trained her body was, how healthy she was, how beautiful she was inside and out, and how perfect she was.

She knew that, with Azura’s amazing stats her ability read and her personality and her existence as a whole that she would be a great leader - in fact, she would make a better leader. The current leader had his issues, his flaws, his weaknesses, but Azura was perfect. It almost disgusted her that Azura wasn’t the leader. Now that she thought of it actually, she wasnt going to be able to get Azura’s attention. With everything that she did, she wouldnt be able to, so instead, at least she could do her a favor.

Nathan Walderman, the lead Seraphim was found dead in his sleep. No trace of poisoning was found - many suspect he died in his sleep of some currently unknown illness. The Divine Judge has decided to appoint Azura Neirtzche as the new Lead Seraphim.

That title ran all over the news, the title of her little ‘favor’ that she got away with. For her it was a simple trick, change and edit the chemical structure of a fast acting disease to the specifics of his body. Hassle quickly broke up and few people even considered the shy, anxious, insecure girl with ‘no motive’ would have and it was quickly written off as a regular death. That being said, the Lieutenant and Leader of the Research Department did not take kindly to his previously lower ranking subordinate taking power before him, and even more that his partner died so simplistically and quickly was the only person to gain suspicions of Eliza. With this, he lashed out, only to get stopped by Azura who quickly put him on trial and requested execution for insubordination and attacking of a fellow Seraphim-class person. Given her ranking, her relationship with the Divine Judge, and the fact that he attacked what many believed to be the weakest of all the Seraphims claiming it was her doing, the decision was given in favor of Azura and the Lieutenant was executed.

It wasnt until shortly later that Azura called Eliza to her office and discusssed the matter, having figured out that the Lieutenant was right. She fished out the genuine reason that Eliza did it, and, much to Eliza’s love, Azura was proud of her. Apparently, such a clean assassination was impressive and the devotion was even more so. With that, Azura had Eliza test in for being an official Seraphim where she quickly, with Azura’s focused help in training and combat, went from being behind Yume, to quickly taking up the Research Department and serving as Azura’s second hand.

Personality: Phanuel is considered a very judgmental person - not on the normal basis, but rather on how one lives their life. As he is a strongly Biblically religious person and as he believes his birthright was to serve to help purify the sinful humans, Phanuel highly judges and speaks against sinful behavior and has a strong distaste for those who regularly take part in them. For those he gets along with and sees as people working towards purity, he can be a fun guy to be around. However for those who he deeps to be 'unforgivably sinful', his personality almost appears to be that of a war angel.

Abilities: Conrad possess a passive ability where his voice affects the brains of whoever hears it, causing them to release the same neurotransmitters in the same quantities that are seen in people who have a high quantity of alcohol in their system. This essentially gives his voice an inebriation effect and thus people can actually get drunk off of his voice. In terms of the effects felt, it actually varies from person to person. Some may feel the narcotic effect of addictive pleasure from hearing his voice while some may experience the lack of coordination, slowed reactions, and impaired judgement. Some may get a sedative effect while some will experience a drastic rise in sexual urge. Conrad has no control over whether this power is active as it simply cannot be shut down. That being said, he has nurtured this ability to be able to slip specific effects into his voice. If he wanted to rape someone, he could simply alter their judgement and then swap to a voice that will increase sexual urges, thus making them practically ask for it.

Akira will have the ability to manipulate light and the factors of it. There are four main usages for it, each depending on major traits and details - the vibration and velocity of the photos, the wavelength and color, the brightness and the temperature. By controlling the vibration and velocity, he is capable of creating force fields that, while looking harmless, quickly cut through items that come in contact with it. With wavelength, he is capable of manipulating it to make himself and a few other things around him vanish from sight for periods of time. With brightness, he is capable of generating light in various colors in various amounts - sometimes being capable to use to temporarily blind. And with temperature, he is capable of using it to heal wounds.

While the four types are capable of being used at once, they loose their strength and efficiency as it takes a lot of practice to manage it. The most able to be used at once effectively are two.

Background: Akira was born to a family he never knew and given up to some orphanage for unwanted children, much like many accidental-sex babies were. Naturally however, he had the luck of the draw to end up in a rather poor and run down part of the nation where a lot of dangerous individuals and drug addicts (who couldnt pay for the opposing medicine to help wiht it) ended up festering with their poor wasted life. It became a dangerous area, and while the adults did their best to keep them safe, at times there were possible risks so, being the oldest of the kids and the ones the younger ones looked up to, the adults taught Akira the basics of gun handling, or at least enough to scare off anyone trying to come in to steal their scarce food or harm any of the children.

However, while the orphanage was much better off than the rest of the rundown part of town they were in, it genuinely didn't have the money to take care of the people it did. It was because of this that the orphanage usually took in its money by taking part in the casinos and repetitively getting lucky. However, as gambling on luck goes, eventually the orphanage owners lost - and they lost bad. If money didnt come soon, alternative payment would be forcibly taken, and slavery was popular in the nation so the issue became apparent. At that point, the adults taking care of them pretty much abandoned them, each staff member slowly distancing off to avoid the consequences of the debt until the title of the orphanage ended up being put on the orphans themselves.

At this point, Akira was twelve with the next oldest orphan being nine and he saw that if nothing was done, who knows what kind of people would come for him. So instead, he sought out a representative of the Violence Market, asked for a loan, and ultimately got rejected. However, it seems the request and story behind it ended up reaching Gianna who ended up wanting to see it in person and gauge his potential where the decision was changed. If he were to serve until he was either 45 with satisfactory or made six times the profit they loaned him, then the money he needed would be given to him as well as a basic enough wage to manage the orphanage poorly. However - if the deal were to be broken, him and the rest of them were to be slaughtered, a typical punishment when dealing with the Violence Market.

Figuring, 33 years of indentured servitude was better than a life of indentured servitude for him and the other kids, he accepted it and ended up becoming an investment of hte Violence Market.

It was because of this that she approached him and asked him to teach her how to manage some kind of weapon so that when hes gone, she could fill his place. At first he wasn't particularly up for it as he didnt want her getting in danger, but she held a strong point about him not being capable of being there to protect them with his work he was getting into and reluctantly accepted teaching her. Despite this however, she mainly turned into the housekeeper and mother of the group as to fill in for the adults that had practically abandoned them.

Background: Heloise was born into a rather wealthy class family within Qeacaba as her mother worked within the Gambling district as a casino member and her father under the Gagliano family as a financial advisor. Neither of her parents were remarkably special in any manner, but they managed to make their money flourish by avoiding the temptations that the nation of Qeacaba often offered and often caused average people like them to loose their money. By staying close to massively growing markets, they managed to maintain a normal life in an all too abnormal nation.

With this Heloise was able to take part in a relatively normal school life where, despite being a bit of a tomboy, she seemed to radiate companionship as she often became one of the more popular kids in the schools she attended throughout her life. It was because of this, she had a good life. However, around the age of fourteen, a man slipped into their house in the middle of the night and silently and smoothly managed to slit her parents throat. Of course, this went all silent while Heloise slept in her peaceful slumber. It wasnt until the next day that she woke up to find her parents missing and their beds blood soaked that it hit her. In a panic she looked around around for where their bodies would be until she made it outside where both of them were tied up to the side of the roof, almost as if making a display of their bodies for one reason or the next. Clearly such strict work done with such little tracks left behind was undoubtly the work of the Gagliano Family, the family most well known for their perfect assassins and hit men, either meaning her father made a mistake that they didnt forgive - or someone paid for his death and the money was more valuable than his loyalty. Exactly what it was never really came to her knowledge, but she knew who did it.

Either way, it took her a while to get herself back together and during the time, she was often held in her friends' houses who decided to care for her for the good few months before she seemed to get out of her panic and depression. After about a half year had passed after the event, she resolved that even if it meant her life, that she would tear down the Gagliano organization under all extremes it took. At first a lot of her friends found her sudden strong resolve to be a suicide mission and a goal, and many of her friends abandoned her for it. However, while many did leave, many seemed to draw closer to her for it. Old friends who heard the story decided they would stick by her side and help her carry it through, while other teenagers and orphaned children joined as well, most of which in the goal of whipping out one of the most fatal portions of the nation. For a while, the gang was often whispered about by others as the "Angsty Teenager Gang", "Delinquent Gang", and "Chuunibyou Gang" as the majority of hte people that radiated towards her often tended to be the young.

After having gathered a good basis and after having dedicated herself to combat, weaponry, and dealings, she wanted to test herself to see if she was more than just bark. She decided to seek out a Gagliano member and kill them. If she could do that, she could find that she would really be able to work towards her goal. This however didn't go well as she foolishly expected the transaction to be one-on-one when it turned out to be one-on-one with two members hidden out. She did manage to blow the brains out of the one standing out front but that only lead to her giving out her actual goals and having two other members with much more experience in this than she did. And with that she was screwed - practically dead. At the point she realized there were two others, she already given up and was ready to die. It was just then that a gun shot rang out, embedding a bullet right through one of the member's heads and a blonde boy ran up in front of the alley way they were working in. After skillfully dodging a bullet the boy shot the other guy in the leg before once again in arm that held the gun. With that he took the gun from the members hand, passed it off to Heloise, introduced himself as Bryce. They talked for a bit as Bryce explained that hed been trying to track down some of the members that killed a friend of his a while back before hearing the Chuunibyou Gang was around the city. They were going to continue talking before Bryce seemed to get irritated at the groaning shot man where he seemed to stop, crushed the guys windpipe and continued conversation.

The two seemed to talk about their experiences with the Gagliano Family and apparently Heloise's sheer determination had caught his attention. It was with that which he decided he would help her build her gang - starting with her taking on a less beautiful name Hela and gaining an official name to gain members. It was since then that the Ravoc Gang actually ended up growing massively with Hela as the leader and Bryce as her personal advisory and, eventually, boyfriend. To this day, the Ravoc Gang has grown to be one of the more well known gangs or, as some call them, vigilante group.

Background: Olivia was naturally born in the same manner as the majority of most Handan citizens are born and was given off to a fitting Angel family to raise her. However, much to the rarity in Handan, the family she was given to was not as functional as the wide majority of Handan families. With both parents having developed a drug addiction before getting her, Olivia was traded off in exchange for drugs, then passed into the human trafficking market. Much to her luck however, she was taken in by Nora.

For the most part, she was able to live a rather decent life there, but after Nora was assassinated and Olivia was wounded in the process, the 'family' was scattered and Lu stayed with her to make sure she recovered well. After recovering and an initial period of struggle and processing through the events that lasted a few years, the two of them decided to lead two goals. Firstly, to slowly regather the family together. Secondly, continue Nora's dream in helping others, particularly children suffering from the nation's toxic nature, without being so blunt as to draw negative attention. Personality: Midias is a rather cocky and confident kind of guy. His radiating aura and ability to make quick decisions in a decisive manner has served him well to make him a strong captain of his ship however, so many often believe that his cockiness and confidence is rather well supported. However, Midias' nature has gotten to where he could be considered pretensions, often finding himself easily annoyed by those who rank below him not giving him the respect he believes he deserves and often finding himself seeing himself as too good or too worthy for those below them. Background: Daiji was born into Qeacaba as the son of a working doctor and a working medical researcher within Qeacaba. It was because of this that from a young age, he was exposed to medical lessons and first aid and quickly began to learn from the age he was five as part of his basic curriculum. It wasn't until he was nine that he was kidnapped and his parents 'disposed of'. It seemed they wanted him was to have a young kid medic to serve at one of the base and thought he would be a good choice to brainwash into servitude. It actually turned out well as he feel almost entirely silent after being kidnapped, doing whatever it took to get personal space away from everyone else. It ultimately did help him better his skills and, because they liked what they saw from him, they did provide him with more learning material. It was a bad situation for him, and by all means he wanted to get out, but given he wasn't anything particularly strong or capable, he couldn't particularly do much.

Much to his luck however, some strange kid managed to storm the base after about two years, and in some sort of an incoherrent rage, slaughtered most of the base. What was the most strange was while watching, Daiji could have counted at least twenty times the kid got shot or cut in ways that would make any normal adult bleed out rapidly, but despite it the kid kept going. Things were done fast and soon the strange crazed child was out and on his way, seeming not to have noticed Daiji since he had learned to remain rather hidden and quiet. What did happen though was that he found himself freed, by the sheer luck of things.

He was free to go - or at least as long as he could get out of the reach of the Gagliano Familia. Now that he thought about it, they were likely going to hunt him down... or maybe they will assume he died too. But that wasn't for concern of now. He had to leave regardless. It was because of that which he quickly made his way out of the bloodbath and began wandering aimlessly throughout Qeacaba. For a good few nights did he stay on the streets scrounging for scraps with little of a place to go until he strangely found a strange sight. People unlike those native to Qeacaba stormed the streets of the poor run down city. Of them, one seemed to have been badly injured from a shot wound who had a friend watching over him. Out of boredom and curiousity, Daiji did go over to help and managed to - despite how hungry he was - stabilize him enough to work in which the guys friend was glad, grateful, and impressed. The guy's friend offered to take him to where they come from to be given a home since he seemed to be lost where they found his medical skills to be something that could be useful and thus he found a new place on the Dardohar.

Being brought onto the Dardohar, he was taught a lot of the basics of being on the ship and a member of the crew and was specifically introduced into the Medical sector and members of the nation where they took him in as a student. Despite that, he had trouble adjusting since most of them were natives to the nation or much older than him. It wasnt until about two or three weeks in that he noticed another rather quiet kid that looked strangely familiar. He wasn't 100% sure it was him since he had a calm face and the one he saw was both blood soaked and crazed, but he was pretty sure it was the weird kid that took down the entire base on his own. Figuring if he was wrong, he could possibly befriend someone relatively close to his age that wasnt from the nation naturally which would be good, and figuring that if he was right, there was a good chance he could get killed, so that wouldn't be that bad either. So with the win-win situation in mind, he took his chances and ultimately got ignored for the first half hour of eating before getting a "bye" before the kid walked off. From there, Daiji accepted his defeat, but instead decided to observe the kid on his freetime, quickly noticing a good few oddities besides the kids attachment to the commander. For one, he was always spacey, for a second, he was often isolated and quiet, and for a third, he could have sworn he saw him talking off into space to which he confronted him about it.

Strangely enough, he was actually somewhat responsive, in the way of saying "I don't need/want your help". At that point however, he had actually grown tired of hanging around all the people around him since none of them he could really connect with and kind of moped off to his room at the rejection again. It wasnt until about a week later which the other kid actually went up and initiated conversation himself as Nicholias, the First Mate, apparently told him - the kid who introduced himself as Baujel - that he should really actually make friends. It was actually rather nice to talk to him though, particularly since they quickly found the two had a lot of similarities and similar experiences.

Background: When Vespers was born, the first thing he was greeted to was the sight of a bullet sailing straight through his smiling fathers forehead. The second thing he saw was the sight of a small round object sailing into the room, a grenade. It's explosion would have surely killed him, but his mother was actually one of the few Qeacaban citizens blessed with powers from the Yellow Gem and she shifted the light around him partially out of this dimension. Her goal might have been to transport him to safety, but the grenade went off before she could finish and while he survived the explosion, he did suffer some injuries after his mothers life faded, returning him to normal space. These injuries would become much more apparently later in life, but Vespers actually is 40% deaf in both ears and suffers from Musical Tinnitus. He hears music that doesn't exist. This was actually a blessing as the family that discovered and adopted him were shocked that he was the quietest infant they'd ever seen. They were expecting a traumatized mess, but the music Vespers heard soothed him and kept him company. So it makes sense that as Vespers grew, he found himself fascinated by music and would often travel the streets, singing to whoever would listen.

Background: Caelum was born and raised within Pendallan with a normal family like many other people did. For the majority of his childhood, his life had nothing abnormal worth mentioning, that outside of his love for fighting and combat that he picked up. This quickly pushed him into considering joining the army in order to protect the nation that he grew up in, that to the point that he dropped out of high school at the age of 16 to do so.

For the first for two years, he served the army quite peacefully and took quite a liking to it, but around the time he was 18, almost 19, there was a really bad situation his squad was put into, that of which resulted in the death of two of his colleagues. At first he was given leave to handle it all, but he seemed to start to find a lot of the behaviors of the executives and how missions were passed around to be odd. This was written off as part of a state of PTSD that he had obtained and he was removed from the army for being considered unstable. Over the next following year, he managed to get work in a restaurant as he worked through the issues that his friend's abrupt death left him with and eventually met his future girlfriend Asahita. Eventually, the two of them got married and around the same time they did, he opened up a dojo to push his passions towards something much more peaceful and safe. After a few years, he was considered to be decently past it all of what he had experienced, but his concerns with the dangers of the army and his formed distrust in it has done well to prevent his son from doing the same.

Background: Asahita was born and raised in Gattaria, meaning, at the age of five, she was bonded, paired, and partnered with a young baby Eagle Owl, Koren, that her father brought home from a trip out of Gattaria that had attempted to traffic it out and to other nations. For the most part, it is what made Asahita's family stand out a bit from the average Gattarian family that stuck with it's love for isolationism, but her family often liked to go out of their way to intervene with issues nearby themselves.

Out of plain old curiosity and a willingness to find out more skills she could do with Koren and, from a young age, took part in the militia and combat training that was offered for free to young children in Gattaria. For the most part, this allowed Asahita to gain skill with archery and the odd form of fighting that was necessry to fight among trees while she pursued her education.

This education pushed her quite far into her career, that until she became to be the best in her city for tending to the medical health of the animals there. It was because of this and her family's history that she decided to travel out and see what other nations were where she found it odd the lack of care that was given. However, more significantly, she found the areas outside of Gattaria rather interesting and hte people even more so. To be completely honest, she had never seen meat once before she traveled outside, and was a mixture of both disgusted and confused with how much some people enjoyed it.

Because of this, and her original plan to explore a bit, she decided to settle in Pendallan for a month or two with Koren where she came to find that the help that they had for animals there were much less and met an interesting man who found himself intrigued by her owl partner of her. This was Caelum and, while he was different and a meat eater which she still found odd, he did end up mixing personalities with her well and the two bonded well. Eventually, this did result in them dating. Despite this, she dead head back home aftre her stay had ended, but with a few more on and off visits, she had actually decided to move to Pendallan to pursue the relationship and find out more about the nation.

Upon moving into Pendallan, she settled down and set up a Veterinary and Animal Behavior Clinic where she quickly became rather well known for her unique level of skill in it. Along with this however, she also had to actually interact with real meat for Koren since - living away from Gattaria, there were no longer good, helathy substitues for him - which brought her into letting him do flights for rats and rabbits to feed on every so often.

After a year or so, and at the age of 19, Hita ended up marrying Caelum and having her first son a year later. Eventually however, she met with a family that had brought in an Osprey chick asking for further information of how to care for it. For the most part, she was concerned more if it would be appropriate for them to be raising a wild animal, but after bringing it up with Caelum who recognized them since their family were customers at the dojo and explaining their history with hunting, she decided to give them the help and counsel to raise one properly as a partner.

Between them and the Hales being frequent visitors of one another - may it be for Eriks martial arts or for Ash's check ups - the two families ended up growing rather close to one another. It ended up with debatings going that convinced Hita to follow them out on a hunting trip where she really came to the realization that the innate relationship between animal and human in Pendallan was much different in Gattaria (since Gattaria tended to have friendlier animals) and that there was actually a bit of a rush in the hunt.

Background: Jackson was born the first child of Asahita and Caelum and, as the child of a well trained Gattarian soldier and a Dojo Owner, Jackson quickly picked up an interest and skill in the field of combat. This pushed even further into having an especial and particular love for adernaline and thrill that came with it.

This made his childhood and experience in school rather 'interesting'. For the most part, he was a good student with his academics. He wasn't remarkably above everyone, but he was considerably good. However, outside of the academics, he often was a little too rough in his play due to his love of adrenaline and fights which ultimately got him into a lot of trouble with the staff of the school. Regardless, no matter of how much he tried to restrain himself or his parents tried to help him, he honestly kept accidentally going a little too far with it and it eventually gave him much more of a 'delinquent' name to him, one of which wasn't the most accurate (but to be fair, his rebellious hairstyle didnt help)

Also, while growing up, he often attended work with his dad to practice combat where he eventually met a quiet boy named Erik. Background: Heather, unlike the majority of my characters, actually had a rather normal childhood and upbringing with the exception of her odd taking to land sports and activities despite how much the Sky Rider tended to prefer aerial activity. Originally, after highschool, she had originally planned on going to college for some goal, but instead she dropped out to pursue her interests in a biker gang... if thats fair to call it. For the most part their group seemed to be much more like a vigilante group, just one that didn't harm - only restrained. This, however, still being illegal and without government backing, did eventually get them in trouble a lot where Heather instead suggested a different proposal to Leia.

Instead of trying to limit her fun biking and to expand her tastes for exploration, Heather brought up the idea of adding to the 'search and recruit' efforts the Sky Rider put towards citizens that they should add a small 'recruit and rescue' sector.
