Why does everyone like Delena?

آپ have to read the کتابیں to fully understand, there's so much مزید there than in the show. The کتابیں are so different than the show. For instance in the کتابیں Damon doesn't just kill people for the heck of it, he only does for self defense. Stefan's مزید annoying and Elena's a stronger مزید independent character, she can walk all over Stefan. Damon and Elena's personalitys are مزید suited to each other. For me the best and most interesting parts of the کتابیں involve Damon and Elena. I really suggest آپ read them, it's an amazing series. I think the دکھائیں is really good but the کتابیں are awesome! And again the کتابیں are completely different from the show, آپ wouldn't be ruining any surprises. Nothing from the کتابیں has happened so far.

I agree that the کتابیں (although I have to admit that I have not finished reading them all lol) really outline why Damon/Elena belong together but I have to say that the دکھائیں is doing a fine job of illustrating the exact same thing to me. Damon and Elena have everything that a couple should have, in my opinion; Chemistry, raw angst, passionate moments (including the fights), a believable and gradual unfolding of trust and feelings on both sides and most importantly they are getting to know each other before anything romantic officially happens. It's as if they are slowly building this solid foundation for friendship that will develop into the truest form of love when the time is right.
I adore that they see each other for the real people they each are on the inside. No pretending, no lies (well, not intentional ones), and neither trying to be something they are not. Because they don't HAVE to be something they are not when they are together. Elena sees the Damon that he doesn't ALLOW anyone else to see and it's only with her that he really wants to try (with anything) in life again. She is what has made him change - and want to change - and for someone like Damon, who cannot easily open himself up to anyone, that is a monumental.
From Elena's POV, I find that she is somewhat hiding from herself (and after having gone through the traumatic experience of having her parents die, it's definitely understandable) while she lets Stefan be her safety zone. But as the دکھائیں is progressing and Damon and Elena's relationship intensifies/expands, we are seeing Elena slowly finding her way back to her real self through him. To me, Damon represents everything Elena IS but has buried deep inside out of fear of being hurt again. Don't get me wrong, I do think she loves Stefan (and a part of her probably always will) and I would also say that Stefan is something she likely needs in her life at the present time as she finds her legs again, but all the while she is with Stefan, it is Damon who allows Elena to be true to herself once مزید and can meet her on equal ground.

Sorry for the long-winded response, I just love the way this couple is blooming into epicness. They really are the دل of TVD for me.

Simple. Cz everyone believes that Elena's love will transform Damon. Who just happens to be ruthless and obsessive.

Cause Damon is hotter~! lol
