Fear The Walking Dead Producer Talks Crossover
Negan is coming. We all need to realize that once he arrives, there\'s no going back. Someone is going to die.
largely expect that someone to be Glenn because of how Negan\'s infamous first appearance in issue #100 of
comic went (you know, with him bashing Glenn\'s skull using a barbed wire wrapped bat?). With that in mind, one would assume Glenn actor Steven Yeun wouldn\'t be too hyped for Negan\'s arrival, right? Wrong.
“For me, his arrival is awesome,” says Yeun. “We’ve been waiting for this person for a long time, and in the comic books, he in a way brings a level of stakes that are kind of unmatched. And so, for me, for Negan to come into the show is, to say nothing less, f—ing awesome.”
Now, either Yeun is a really a team player and a good sport while finding out he\'s no longer employed by the series, or the show will deviate from the comics. All sarcasm aside, both really are possibilities.
It\'s also a possibility that Yeun is excited for people to stop asking him about Negan. Fans have been going on about the villain\'s arrival on the show since his first appearance was printed in the comics in 2012. We\'ll see in a few short weeks.
“I know people are going to always go, ‘Negan kills Glenn in the comics,’ but rest assured that we don’t necessarily do what’s in the comics,” says Yeun. “There’s a clear divide in the way we tell a story on television, and the way that story is told in the comics, because it has to be. And everybody will have to see what happens, but we definitely tell our story in the way that television should be told.”

As far as spoilers are concerned, that clinches it for me that Glenn lives
I think it is cool and all if the show can draw inspiration from the comic book but I think it is idiotic for it to try to follow it to the letter. Why tell the exact same story twice? I hope Glenn lives, it would really spoil the show for me if they kill him off just because that\'s how it happened in the comic. The show is a thousand times better then the comic anyway and I think it deserves to stand on its own.
Remember that the only reason Kirkman killed Glenn in the comics was that he was boring and useless compared to Steven in the series and that he didn\'t want people to be influenced by a boring Glenn, so who knows?
Yeah, I don\'t think this will be happening on the show, at least not to Glenn. I think they love to play with the possibility but in the end it\'s just too obvious for them.
Steven is the only one of the cast who spoke positivity about Negan\'s arrival. He\'s a sarcastic person. And is a fake out. Still think it\'s either Glen, Maggie or Carol.
