Cresentmoon and Berryblue followed the FireClan scent all the way across DeerClan territory. The scent then quickly changed direction and led up towards the camp.
Berryblue smelled blood and FireClan. He knew that could only mean one thing.
"FireClan is invading the camp!" he said.
"What makes آپ think that?" Cresentmoon asked.
"I smell blood and FireClan," Berryblue said. "We're also nearing the camp. From my experience, I know what that means."

Both cats ran at full speed to the camp.
"They picked out just the right time!" Mewed Cresentmoon. "Fawnstar is on her last life, and Flowerbar is expecting kits today."
"So that means, if Fawnstar dies in this battle, آپ are going to be leader?" Asked Berryblue.
"Yes, and it also means we could lose some fine little kits," replied Cresentmoon.
"I can see the camp!" کہا Berryblue. "We're getting closer, don't worry."
"I hope we arn't to late," Cresentmoon said.

Cresentmoon and Berryblue ran up the ہل, لندن surrounding the camp. They stopped at the edge, and looked down at their fallen clanmates. Cresentmoon saw Flowerbar being cornered سے طرف کی some FireClan cats.
"Oh," cried Flowerbar. "My kits are coming! Someone, help!"
The FireClan cats looked at each other, and then moved closer in, knowing that Flowerbar would be easy prey.
"Well, what are آپ waiting for?" Berryblue asked Cresentmoon. "Flowerbar isn't going to save herself!"
"We can't go to the other side of the hill," Cresentmoon mewed. "By the time we've done that, Flowerbar and her kits will be nothing!"
"Well, what do آپ expect us to do?" Asked Berryblue. "Jump?"
"Yes."
"What? Have آپ gone birdbrain?"
"No, we need to jump. It's the only way."
"I'm going to be in SkyClan soon if no cat helps me!" Wailed Flowerbar.
"I'm jumping, and I don't care if آپ do یا not," کہا Cresentmoon. Then she jumped off the high hill.
"No! Cresentmoon!" Berryblue cried. "I already lost a sister today! I don't need to loose another!"
Cresentmoon felt the wind on her face as she fell.
"This is for the sake of DeerClan," she thought. "And cats always land on thier feet."
"I can do it, I can jump," Berryblue کہا to himself. He jumped off the hill. "No, I'm not ready!" He cried, as he pawed on midair. The ground was coming in quickly, and Berryblue knew nothing to do but relax.
He landed on the ground with a thud, then looked up and saw Cresentmoon slinking toward the FireClan cats. He got up and followed her.
"Stop!" Hissed Cresentmoon, and lunged at a FireClan warrior who was trying to get Flowerbar. She sunk her teeth into his neck.
The FireClan warrior tried to shake her of, but Cresentmoon sank her claws into his flesh. Soon the FireClan warrior's body was limp.
"Anybody else want it, huh!" Hissed Cresentmoon.
The reamaning FireClan warriors ran off with thier tails between thier legs.
"Good job, Cresentmoon," mewed Berryblue. "But a warrior dosn't have to kill to win a battle."
"Can someone just help me," moaned Flowerbar.
"Right away," mewed Cresentmoon. Then she grabbed a stick off the ground.
"Bite this," she said. "It will ease the pain."
"I'll go find the medicine cat," کہا Berryblue. Then he ran off to get him.

Berryblue ran quickly towards the medicine cat's den. When he got there, Treeleaf and Halkpaw were already tending other cats' wounds.
"Come quick!" Cried Berryblue. "Flowerbar is kitting!"
"I'm coming," کہا Halkpaw.
"But, I need Treeleaf!" کہا Berryblue.
"I've helped cats kit before." کہا Halkpaw. "And Treeleaf is busy mending severe wounds"
"Okay, then," Berryblue said. "Just follow me, and hurry!"
