Yes, what else does he got to lose, he's a teen age boy who has all this pressure put in his shoulders and Derek isn't making anything easier, he is making it worse. Derek was going to kill Lydia and then Jackson. So why would Scott help him? Of course he complained about Alliison, he loves the girl, it's only natural.
