I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Five Guest Stars We Want To See In Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. | Comicbook.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
has done a fine job of proving why the series can stand on its own two legs, without frequent appearances by character from the Marvel Studios films. That doesn’t mean a surprise guest start here and there isn’t fun though.
Here are some of the guest stars we’d like to see make an appearance on
Naturally, it would be a pretty big event if the poster boy for the Marvel Cinematic Universe made an appearance on
Robert Downey Jr. has said that he’s open to the idea, and the timing seems pretty perfect in the series’ second half of Season 2.
On a television budget, we would likely get Tony Stark out of the Iron Man armor. That make sense at this point in time, as
ended with Tony separating himself from his Iron Man persona. It wouldn’t’ be hard to imagine Coulson reaching out to Tony for some help on a certain project – or vice versa – especially if it involves Stark technology.
Jeremy Renner is another film actor who previously expressed a willingness to appear on
His character, Hawkeye, has a naturally connection to a character on the show, Bobbi Morse, in the comics, as the two were married, so a romantic subplot would be an easy way to write him onto the show.
Of course, there’s the question of whether or not Morse’s past marriage to Lance Hunter on
effectively replaces her relationship with Hawkeye, but that’s a question we’ll just have to wait for an answer to.
Of all the Marvel film stars besides, perhaps, Nick Fury, Captain America is the one with the most direct narrative connection to
An appearance by Chris Evans as Steve Rogers would then make a lot of sense, especially if and when S.H.I.E.L.D. has their final confrontation with Hydra.
Mark Ruffalo has been saying for a while now that he would like to be part of a Hulk story that featured more of the Green Goliath’s human alter ego, Bruce Banner. The problem there is that Banner is a much harder sell for a summer blockbuster than the incredible Hulk is.
So why not bring that story to television? It’s easy enough to imagine Coulson’s team running into a gamma radiation related problem and needing Banner’s expertise. This kind of story would Ruffalo the Banner-centric narrative he’s been asking for.
We haven’t gotten to meet Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, the future Ant-Man, just yet. While he won’t done the suit and helmet until the film is released in July, perhaps a guest star role on
Prior to becoming a superhero, Lang is criminal. Perhaps his shady dealings lead him into conflict with S.H.I.E.L.D. somehow. Or maybe they need his knowledge and criminal connections to help them with a mission.
– Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill and Vin Diesel (maybe) as Black Bolt
There’s a couple more guest stars we’d like to see that we’ve kept off of the main list for a couple of reasons. One is Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, whom we’ve left off of the list simply because she’s already been a guest star, in Season 1, and because the
showrunners have already suggested that they have plans to use her again in Season 2.
The second is Vin Diesel as Black Bolt, whom we’ve left off of the list for two reasons. One is because the only person who has implied that Vin Diesel will be playing Black Bolt is Vin Diesel. The other is because we have no way of knowing whether or not
’s narrative is very heavily invested in Inhumans mythology, making an appearance by the Inhuman king something that makes a lot sense.

These are all great choices but the most likely to appear on the show would be Paul Rudd and Jeremy Renner.Maybe Mark Ruffalo.
I also wouldn\'t mind seeing a certain New York based Surgeon who dabbles in magic. I would love to see how they handle the reality of magic in a mundane world.
So basically the Avengers + Ant-Man (who will easily be in a later version of the Avengers anyways). Here\'s a better list:1) Yellowjacket (from the upcoming Ant-Man movie)2) Hawkeye3) Ward as Taskmaster4) The Skrulls5) Carol Danvers as a pilot, pre-powers
I\'d love to see another appearance by Maria Hill in season 2! But Cobie Smulders is a few months pregnant by this point. So unless she has already filmed it, I don\'t think we\'re going to see her this season. But a Tony Stark/Maria Hill joint appearance would be so awesome. Hope it happens.
When Marvel is getting these guts under contract for their films, why can\'t they add a clause that requires them to make 2-3 appearances on a series of Marvel\'s choice (Agents Of SHIELD, Agent Carter, any of the upcoming Netflix series)? I\'m sure it could be done.

All those are great choices, but I have one of my own I\'d truly want to see: Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. The Winter Soldier.
The movie left Bucky slowly on the path to regain his memories, and with Fury in the shadows, the best candidate to help him take the path of redemption would be Coulson. Also, Bucky as the Winter Soldier would be a major add up to the roster, it would give them star boost alongsde Mockingbird and make way for new storylines "A la Brubaker"
And they could also make parallels between Bucky\'s Brainwashing/Mind reprogramming and the brainwashing Whitehall did to people like Donnie Gill and Agent 33.
