Bassett will be part of the FX horror anthology’s upcoming season, series creator Ryan Murphy tweeted Thursday.

Though no details about Bassett’s character are available, Murphy’s message implies that she’ll be involved in the same storyline as castmate Lady Gaga.

YES, I’ve been waiting for this announcement! Hopefully Ryan & Co. utilize Angela’s presence on the show because she was severely underused in Freakshow. I need her to come through with scenestealing moments like Coven.

About time. Let’s just hope she’s better utilized than she was in Freak Show.

She and Lady Gaga will be playing rival jazz singers at the hotel.

This makes it better. Now if we get Lily Rabe I will be emotionally able to handle Lordy Gags all season.

YES!!!! I am so happy about this news. I am beginning to wonder if this new season is going to actually take place in Los Angeles? I remember reading a long time ago about a hotel, that is suppose to be haunted by celebrities who stayed there but I can’t remember the name of the hotel.

One, two or three boobs. Come on somebody was bound to say it :-)

Sarah, Kathy, and Angela were the only 3 I really wanted to come back for Hotel, so I’m pretty happy right now! Any further casting announcements will just be icing on top of the cake!
