Anywhere!It doesnt matter to me.....but i think its better to adopt a n animal from a shelter....because they had a hard life and deserv a second chance! :D

Were I live there are ALOT of strays most of them are cats. All the pets I've had and have are all strays.

yeah it would be better to save the animals - that need LOVE and home , an get them out of the cages D:

My dog is fourteen years old and my cat is eight I got Ponda (dog) because one of my moms friends' dogs had puppy's and Zulu (cat) from my best friend's litter of kittens.

I got a puppy from a pet store before I knew about puppy mills... :(

I hate the animal shelter it is just so sad. But when i went there I had to adopt an animal, it would be wrong not to and now she is the most loyal dog.

i own an animal shelter so just don't adopt from a pet shop because the shop gets them from puppy mills and those dogs have never touched the ground before:(

Petshops are kind of cruel.

when i was walking up a hiking trail with my mom i heard a dog cry! i looked around and didnt notice aything at first, but then i saw a little dog tail behind a bush next to the fence! i walked over and saw bubbles(dog) head stuck in the fence she was bleeding too! i called my mom over and then we took her head out carfully and took her to the vet! the vet told us that if we wouldnt of found her she probably would have died! i started to cry really bad! i am best friends with bubbles now she is the best dog ever! shes a cocker spaniel and is about 6 years now:)

i took in one of my dogs and it turned out - she was a pure bread Border Terrier but even if she wasn't it's the animal's personality that matters not their breed! but of course it's nice to rescue an animal or take one from a shelter!

Definitely from a shelter. NEVER a pet store because they come from puppy mills! I just did a school paper on puppy mills, they're horrible!
