So, apparently Haruhi Fujioka is a "good" character. I don't agree. I don't even think Ouran is a good series. It was funny for a while, but the "I'm a crossdresser and these people are all rich" (apparently a "storyline") take quickly got boring. As a پرستار of K-ON! and self-confessed Yui Hirasawa fanatic, I do agree that not everything needs a storyline.

But they do need good characters! This is frustrating! The opening is just annoying, the dub annoys the hell out of me. Whoever thought that the Hitachiin Twins were a good idea must be insane, Mori has Sasuke Syndrome, Tamaki is an annoying bishonen, Mitsukuni is creepy and Kyoya is Kira.

zanhar1 I personally thought it was a cute and funny story. And the cross-dressing to help pay of a debt is rather interesting too. At least for me. I also think the art style is really pretty. But I guess it's all about personal preferences.

akaisora I totally disagree with everything you said.It was a hilarious comedy for me, each character had it's own individual personality, Haruhi's personality was very attractive to me, the way they make fun of "those damn rich people" was very good, the opening was cute and the art was just fine. Basically for me OHSHC is a very good anime and has a very original theme and story line and it was one of the first animes I had watched, well even if I disagree that's your opinion and it's to be respected = )

izbia150 Honestly it's your opinion, so though you may think the characters aren't good, doesn't mean they really aren't. As someone who isn't a fan nor a 'hater' of the series, I'd argue that the characters have a lot of potential and diverse personalities, but now that'd just be my opinion. And it's hard to find a very original storyline, so I think the creators did a pretty good job with that. There is always room for improvement though.

nihonphilia And I wanted to watch it... Maybe if there were a more logical argument here I would consider staying away from it. As it is now I'm only more curious.

Zeppie To each their own..... But I disagree with everything right there :P No other anime has made me laugh so much, the characters are all charming, and the whole premise is pretty neat. btw @nihonphilia don't let this deter you hahah, it's a great watch :) And the dub is actually really good. It has great snappy humour, that's what hooked me for the most part x)

rainfop I personally really liked the serious so much I went back to watch it a second time, which for me is actually rare because I really hate repetitive activities. As for why i liked it i cant say, it just made me feel happy and had me laughing often. Also there wasn't a lot of Fan Service, which i hate.
