famfan What? There is a such thing as friendship and not sexship? on Merlin? What annoys me is that there are a lot of series now and days that show this kind of relationship. It doesn't have to be created from a friendship on Merlin. You can change the channel and find it in earnest.

EPaws Exactly Shu, Kim and Fam. I don't get it other than it has to be the psycho-sexually immature females in the fanbase. They are also the same ones who are sufficiently disturbed and needy to create all the hate mongering that you see.

HumbleQueen Just heard about this "ship" a few days ago. I mean...no words. And fam, thank you. This is exactly what I was saying the other day. If they want this kind of relationship so bad, there are plenty of shows which make no bones about it. Why is it so important that you not allow the guys on Merlin to be friends together? I just watched 4x01 and 4x02 the other day and there was this scene where Arthur put his hand on Elyan's shoulder and looked deep into his eyes and smiled after E's beautiful words of encouragement just spoken. I found myself thinking "uh-oh, somebody's going to probably make something of THAT because it was the way he looks at Merlin." Right after that I heard this sorry stuff.

famfan HQ, OMG I sooooo know that feeling. While watching in 402, 404, omg and in 412 I just cringed. I hate that sometimes I watch the show worrying about what the challenged will say.

LadyKnighton oh it's so woderful to read everyones comments! People who understand that it's no more than friendship.I've had to put up with some of these shippers and it's just so annoying. On a brighter note these guys are so adorable :)

Lucerne28 These people are probably the same group who sexualize Arthur and Merlin's relationship. Sigh. They refuse to acknowledge the fact that for too many years to count, people of the same sex have been having close, caring/loving relationships without sex/sexual attraction coming into it. Shakes head.
