In preparation for Bayonetta\'s arrival in Smash Bros. next month, Nintendo is releasing Bayonetta 2 as a standalone title on February 19 in North America.

According to Nintendo of America\'s announcement on Twitter, PlatinumGames\' Wii U exclusive will be available for $29.99.

When Bayonetta 2 launched back in 2014, the retail version also included a copy of the first game. Meanwhile, this re-release only includes the sequel, which explains its budget-friendly price tag.

This standalone version is currently only confirmed for North America, so stay tuned to IGN in the event a similar announcement is made for other territories.
