Lucas was the first really great guy that Brooke ever dated, and it scared her because she had never دیا a ratsass before. She never let herself get into an emotional relationship.

It made her want to be better - it helped her make the change from 'party slut' to 'student body president, cheerleader, amazing friend, amazing girlfriend, adoptive mom, the girl who saves people'.

Lucas lost his virginity to Brooke. Brooke made Lucas re-evulate his mistakes. She made him want to be better, want to fix the past, to دکھائیں her how sorry he truly was for hurting her. Even after the final break-up Lucas continued to go to Brooke for help and guidance. When he felt lost without Peyton he called Brooke. When he didn't know what to do about his movie and all the possible changes, he went to see her. Brooke was still a big part of his life after everything that they had gone through together. I think that this part of the reason that I love Brucas so incredibly much. They really helped each other grow and become better people.
