Far From the Madding Crowd is the fourth time Thomas Hardy\'s 1874 literary classic romance has been adapted for the big and small screen, and this version is directed by Thomas Vinterberg. This feature film stars Carey Mulligan as the headstrong and independent \'Bathsheba Everdene\', who attracts the attention of three very different men all competing for her hand in marriage.
