So I think reading about them and 'likeing' them would be a sin. I've never read Harry Potter and there are lots of good کتابیں out there.

Halloween is not about God یا anything good. It's about ghost, witches, death and other evil things.
Ever think just what 'Trick یا treat' means?
آپ will not go to Heaven for just believeing in God. آپ have to love him, keep his Commandments and live like آپ think he wants آپ to live. Read the Bible and accept what it says. If آپ know you're disobeying God and keep doing it, then آپ will not go to Heaven.
And if آپ are not sure about something then don't do it. It's better محفوظ then sorry. And pray about it. If آپ really want to know the truth, God will not give up on you.
Matthew 7:7-12 -
Ask, and it shall be دیا you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
یا what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

And for people who say all آپ have to do is believe, remember that even the Devil believes in God.
