Should Coraline have been rated as lowly as it was?

Heya all coraline شائقین (this is my first answer so im not sure how everything is done sorry if this is the wrong sorta way of posting a سوال thingy) anyways i saw coraline for my دوستوں birthday as we all thought it looked amazing and i LOVED the film dont get me wrong i was just thinking that maybe the plot was a little too sinister for the rating it got (i dont know about america but in the UK it was a pg meaning parental guidance)i was extremly scared at points with the other mother in particular but maybe this is just me being a wuss lol i would love to hear everyone's elses گیا پڑھا مرتبہ on it. I dont think it was to sinister. Cuz Cinderella was sinister too. I was jumping out off my نشست i was so excited

I'm 18 and I was scared when I watched it. It's PG in Australia though which I think is ok because no kids would see it if it was M. I do think kids will be scared but it's not the first time they've had scary kids فلمیں (Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride etc) and a lot of them like it. It's a thrill and it's all so magical! It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland actually.

I n=dont really think it should be m, because its not THAT scary, but a lot of parents think that it would be suitable for their little kids. When I went and saw it, it was just me and my دوستوں and then a whole lot of famalies with little kids.

It is a bit silly to assume that just becasue it is animated, it is suitable for kids but a lot of people do.

I think a high PG was fine as it wasn't live action. Of course it does depend how آپ cope with certain movies. It is incredibly creepy. I like creepy. آپ are not being a wuss, it depends what affects you. My Mom doesn't like it! lol
