It sounds like he likes you, but he's too shy to دکھائیں it. یا he's just trying to avoid telling آپ that he doesn't feel the same...

Uh, it sounds like he might be interested in you. :) If he didn't like you, یا want to be around you, then why did he walk with آپ to lunch یا choose to be around آپ in health class? I would say, اگلے time he walks with you, یا is around آپ at all, try to talk to him. Say "hi" and start up some small talk. Who knows? He could end up liking you. :}

And, to your last سوال there, I don't think it's awkward for him. I mean, he's the one who chose to stand اگلے to you, and walk with you, right? The only reason why it could've been awkward is that everything was all in silence. Try to talk to him a bit. :) Maybe he's around آپ like that because he wants to get to know you. :) And, yeah, I think he could like you. :) It sounds like he was trying to be playful with آپ there when آپ were going to put your markers back (playfulness = flirting! <3)
