Caroline woke up slowly and blinked her eyes. She was back in her بستر and Bonnie was sitting سے طرف کی her side. The guy that had attacked her was sitting سے طرف کی the door, on the ground. When she saw him she rose and became upset.
“What is he still doing here?” she asked accusatory, pointing at Keith and looking at Bonnie.
“Waiting for آپ to wake up, so he doesn’t have to explain himself twice” Bonnie explained calm. “I’m sorry, Caroline, I should’ve دیا آپ a head’s up”
Caroline shook her head bewildered. “A head’s up? آپ knew this was going to happen?”
Bonnie and Keith exchanged a glance. “Yeah…Damon told me” she کہا eventually. “He attacked you, so Veronica would spare my life”
Caroline angrily turned to Keith. “Veronica? Seriously, if I ever hear that name again!” she exclaimed frustrated.

Keith hesitated. Bonnie might end their friendship is she heard the truth.
“I’m not proud of it” he mumbled shy.
“Doesn’t matter. Spill. We have all day” Bonnie replied. When Keith still hesitated she added: “Start talking یا I will get Damon here. He won’t ask so nicely”
Keith remembered how Damon had attacked him and fringed. “Okay, then” he کہا reluctant. “I’m not crazy. Never been. Veronica found out there was a witch in the psychiatric clinic of Mystic Falls and she wanted someone to keep an eye on her. And that someone was me. She couldn’t ask anyone else. Derek’s already spying on Damon. Rachel’s too caught up in her own drama. So, it fell to me. When آپ left the clinic and I told Veronica she was furious. She thought آپ could be a threat to her plans, so she told me to resign as well and to keep doing what I was doing. But then we became دوستوں and I didn’t want آپ to get hurt. So, I went to Veronica and I told her آپ were okay, that آپ were human and that آپ wouldn’t hurt a fly. She promised she’d let آپ live, but…” Keith looked up at Caroline. “I had to overpower you”
A few منٹ of silence followed, until Caroline broke it.
