	team_tonks picked I never liked him to begin with: I started noticing things about Stefan that I didn't like about half-way through season 1 and then When I rewatched them again it full on hit me how manipulative he could be. He followed Elena around for months to make sure she wasn't Katherine, forced himself into her life even though he knew it would cause her nothing but pain and heartbreak and the way he treated Elena after she found the photo of Katherine when he rang and got her voicemail was incredibly patronising. He seemed to care more about his own happiness than Eena's. she would have been happier living a full human life, with the chance to have children and get married. Let's compare that to Damon who realised she wasn't Katherine in 5 seconds, told her to get everything she wanted from life and walked away hoping she'd be happy. And another thing. Does Stefan really want Elena to be human again so that she will choose him, even though it means she'll have to be Klaus' blood bag and have all manner of dark creatures come after her because she's the human doppelgänger? 	CHOCOLADE picked I never liked him to begin with: I stopped liking Stefan in season 2 and I really, really tried to keep on liking him but he is just so, so dumb and opportunistic all the time! he's also mean and continuously hits his brother when he is down. He bashes him each time he gets the chance :( and god what an hypocrite, he lies and do wrong each time it serves him, claiming it's justice! Nah all he cares about is being with Elena or what he wants Elena to be. He is obsessed with the Idea of Katherine ( he taught Katherine was and angel, a sad little girl that lost her parents in a fire but it was all a lie! so he hated her and then he met Elena who's in his eyes is the perfect Katherine she is a real angel, a sad little girl that lost her parent in a car crash but it was only a phase and now that he sees the real her he hates her too!) like Thomas Galvin said Stefan's love for Elena is toxic! But when you rewatch season 1 and you pay attention you realize how much of a liar and a hypocrite he really is. Damon has changed and he's not "the bad guy" who should be scorned and criticized 24/7.
