Then I turned and walked away so no one would see me cry, after a few moments I got myself together and put on a straight face. I know I’m doing the right things but it’s really hard to let go, they’re my best friends. But it’s for the best, they belong with their families.

Slowly it vanished and it revealed that Scamp, Angel, and Patch had turned back into puppies. Their families rejoiced. But our story isn’t over yet.
