So, we did this countdown a while ago, but I’ve wanted to write my personal opinions on it, and the مضامین I’ve written since just seemed to fit with the timing better, so this one kept getting pushed back. Sorry about that! However, if my writing this late keeps the conversation going, I’m glad I kept pushing it back!
Warning: Tiana’s section contains a LONG rant.

10. Aurora
Aurora doesn’t really do much in her movie, heck, she isn’t even really the protagonist. This film isn’t really about what Aurora does but مزید what happens to Aurora. Aurora sets very little of the film in motion. Maleficent puts the spell on her, and Philip, of course, wakes her up. However, she does go to be a princess instead of staying with Philip and puts her people’s needs above her own, which I do truly believe she does. But ultimately, I’m going to quote the NostalgiaChick: “Our breeding stock is just there for the fairies to [screw] around with.”

9. Snow White
Snow White is also one of the less assertive princesses, but I might consider moving her up a spot for the reason that, as the anonymous user on Tumblr so eloquently put, “She runs that joint like a business.” And it is true. Everyone except the Evil Queen is wrapped around her little finger, and she also does take charge over every situation at the dwarfs’ house. However, she still does very much rely on others. She doesn’t even run away until the Huntsman tells her to. I’m sorry, but if آپ need to be told to run away from someone who is trying to kill you?
Sorry the edges are cut off
Sorry the edges are cut off

8. Jasmine
Yeah, I might consider moving Snow White up to be higher than Jasmine. While جیسمین, یاسمین is very showy about SAYING “I am not a prize to be won,” the way she ACTS is completely counter to that. She ends up relying on Aladdin for everything, and she really does nothing for herself. Really, I can’t think of anything she does for herself after Aladdin comes along other than distracting Jafar. However, she does leave of her own accord and is willing reject her princess عنوان for her independence, which is admirable. However, in a way this says that a woman will naturally become subservient to men, seeing as she completely relies on Aladdin. See the dilemma I’m in?

7. Cinderella
Cinderella has incredible emotional strength. Incredible. I really don’t get when people say she’s a doormat. People always complain that she doesn’t do anything to stand up to the Tremaines, but she does rebel in little ways while she is there. She also grabs at the one chance to escape she has and doesn’t let it slip through her fingers. However, in the end, she is مزید passive than the others.

6. Rapunzel
There are some who say she is the most feminist, and I definitely see where they’re coming from. However, I don’t think she is مزید feminist than spot six. She puts up with everything Gothel does to try to manipulate her into staying in the tower and still has the guts to leave. That is impressive. Also, she holds power over Flynn and is in a completely equal relationship with him. However, she seems to be a damsel in distress to me a few times, which makes sense, since she's been locked up in a tower her whole life. She doesn't escape until Flynn comes (makes sense, but she still waits for him to come,) Gothel has to "save" her from the Stabbington brothers, and she was going to be dragged off until Flynn came and interrupted things. She has her heroic moments, but usually she needs someone else to do a lot of it. So she has both heroic and damsel moments. She seems not to be able to do too much without help. Of course it does make sense that she would stay in her tower before Flynn comes. If that was an isolated thing and she was self-reliant for the rest of the movie, I wouldn't see her as a damsel-in-distress at all, but in conjunction with everything else, she seems kind of damsel-in-distress-ish However, what really makes me put her down at six is that she is willing to go back to her tower even after she knows Gothel is planning on never letting her out. She would be willingly giving up her independence.

5. Ariel
Ariel, of course, has some flaws in terms of feminism (and I know I am understating) that I’m not going to bother getting into seeing as everybody already knows them. However, she also has many positives, in my opinion. Before anything, I want to defend her against the argument that she “waits for a man” before turning into a human. Blame Ursula for that, that was the opportunity Ursula chose to take. Now, to why I think Ariel deserves to be here. First of all, there is the fact that she saved Eric’s life twice and was the first princess to do so. Also, Ariel sets almost everything in the film, good یا bad, in motion. What puts her above Rapunzel, however, is that when Sebastian says they should go back to Ursula and get her to turn Ariel back into a mermaid, Ariel will have nothing to do with it. She is determined to keep her newfound independence, which is what sets the scale in her favor slightly over Rapunzel. I also just find her مزید independent in general than Rapunzel.

4. Belle
These four are far and away the سب, سب سے اوپر four for me. My four and my three are pretty even for me in terms of feminism. Belle, of course, has been hailed “Disney’s feminist princess.” Gaston even says, “It’s not right for women to read- then they start getting ideas and thinking.” This quote shows that all of these things were looked down upon, but Belle did all of these things which, for her surroundings, were revolutionary. She also stands against his advances and is strong in her conviction. She stands firm in herself, and it’s not until the Beast learns to control his temper and begins to دکھائیں that there is still good in him that she becomes attracted to him at all. Belle is the مصنف of her own story, and is strong in herself and will not compromise herself for anybody else.

3. Tiana
Yeah, I know “she gives up her dream for Naveen.” I really don’t get this argument. First of all, people have to make sacrifices in relationships, that is just the way relationships work. What would آپ say if a woman had to decide between being fired from her dream job and divorcing her husband? If she chose the divorce, would آپ be saying it was good that she was keeping her independence and not giving up her career for her husband, یا would آپ say she was a selfish jerk? The same principal applies here, with the exception that Tiana and Naveen are not married. And even then, look at what she says. “My dream wouldn’t be complete, Naveen, without آپ in it.” She says her dream wouldn’t be COMPLETE. Meaning Naveen was only part of her dream. She still cared about her restaurant, Naveen was just مزید important than her restaurant was, and what is wrong with that? She never gave up the restaurant. She never turned her back on her restaurant, but she was willing to let it go if it had to be sacrificed for Naveen- which I don’t think is so terrible. To those who say “she didn’t know marrying Naveen would turn them into humans”- there was always Mardi Gras اگلے year. I honestly don’t believe that the Fenner Brothers when they say Tiana was outbid. She always still cared about her restaurant, what is the problem with caring مزید about Naveen- a person as opposed to a building? آپ want someone who gives up a dream for a lover? HERCULES! He completely turns his back on his dream of life on Olympus to be with Meg. Tiana got her dream of her restaurant in the end, Hercules never got his. He even says “A life without Meg, even an immortal life, wouldn’t be worth living.” Tiana never says her life would be worthless without her relationship with Naveen. Why does no one complain about Hercules, when he gave up مزید than Tiana ever did and never had any hope of ever being able to get his dream again? Because he is a man? This is a double standard, I tell you, as sexist as any other! I’m sorry, I just don’t understand this argument.
Anywho, rant over, why Tiana deserves to be third most feminist. Tiana had a dream- and she went out and worked for it. She didn’t rely on anything else for it to happen, she put in all the hours and did it all herself. She made her dream happen. Like Belle, she took control of her own life and made herself master of her fate. However, Tiana doesn’t stand on her own as much as the others do. (Sorry if that was kind of choppy, I wanted to keep it short after the rant.)

2. Pocahontas
Pocahontas was my first. However, I started thinking about the reasoning most people (myself included) gave for why she deserved to be the biggest feminist- her gender is never questioned. Now, that in no way is a bad thing, but why does it make Pocahontas herself مزید feminist? سے طرف کی that logic, shouldn’t Rapunzel and Ariel round out the سب, سب سے اوپر three, for their gender is never questioned either. However, they almost never make it that far. Should the equal گیا پڑھا مرتبہ of those around her put her above the others- and, contrariwise (been looking for an excuse to use that since I last watched Alice in Wonderland,) should those who had to prove their worth be penalized because of the ignorance of those around them? I think not. Maybe it is just because I feel disillusioned that I moved her down, but Pocahontas is now in second. However, she still does do plenty to deserve her spot. Pocahontas is a strong, active member of her community. She actively works in the politics of her people. She uses diplomacy in order to put a stop to the war, which is certainly something to be admired from any feminist standpoint. She also enlightens John, and the fact she is shown as someone worthy to learn from and can educate others is big, in my opinion. Pocahontas also makes her own decisions. Her father intentionally puts no pressure on her either way when she decides whether to stay یا leave to London with John. She has true independence.

1.Mulan
Yeah, Mulan is at the top. However, really looking at it, I do still think she deserves this spot. Maybe my گیا پڑھا مرتبہ on feminism are not the best, but I personally think it is actually مزید feminist that Mulan leaves her ہوم for the army just to save her father and just happens to end up proving herself. Mulan doesn’t have to intentionally try to make a statement in order to. Also, I really love that she doesn’t succeed because she does what is expected of men. She screws everything up just as much when she is trying to act “like a man” as she did when she was trying to act “like a woman.” She doesn’t achieve things because she simply has مزید brute strength. She can climb the pole because she uses her intellect to find a way to use the weights. She doesn’t beat Shang in hand-to-hand combat because she simply physically overpowers him. Try doing that kick thing she does. Honestly, try it. That requires a lot of flexibility, and women naturally have مزید flexibility than men. Get that? She was actually using her femininity to her advantage over a man, just like when she used her پرستار against Shan Yu. Mulan doesn’t succeed because she does what is expected of men when she is disguised as a man. She succeeds because being disguised as a man frees her from the limitations of her gender role, and so she is able to use her intellect to its full extent. Mulan also stands on her own and makes a place for herself in her society, and it just happened due to choices she naturally made, دکھانا women can naturally be equal to men and are naturally inclined to be independent and a part of their society.

Well, I got a little long on those last few (surprise surprise.) I hope this got آپ thinking, even if it was to cement آپ گیا پڑھا مرتبہ to oppose mine. Share your opinions, please, I would love to hear what آپ have to say.

 The three classic princesses
The three classic princesses
Okay, I am writing an مضمون after a long time. I suffered from the lack of ideas and imagination for مزید than 12 days ago. So, I am not in a mood to start a new series, either, Damn! So, I decided to do one short article, duh! Sorry, I am gonna do a series! I mean, duh, some princesses were horribly out of place. I mean, we think every princess is beautiful, but some are a little historically inaccurate and drawn in a wrong way.

Snow White

Snow White

It is kinda easy to figure out where this classic took place. The dwarfs’ house is decorated with carved wooden instruments and furniture....

 Anastasia, how are you?
Anastasia, how are you?
Hi guys, okay since I'm a پرستار of both films. So here are comparisons on both films.

The Story

While watching Tangled, I notice some similarities with Anastasia. Rapunzel and the latter are both lost princesses who would be a commoner for the majority of the film.
Unlike Rapunzel, Anastasia suffers from amnesia while falling of the train and losing grip of her grandmother while escaping the revolution, while Rapunzel was kidnap as a baby سے طرف کی Mother Gothel.
They find true love along the way, and they did not get on well with Flynn and Dmitri respectively. But, as time goes سے طرف کی their relationship...

Notes: Frozen is not created and owned سے طرف کی me. This is a remake of a پرستار fiction that I made months ago. This is a story for both Fanpop and Fanfiction.net.

The kingdom floor was messy. Anna had left lots of stuff on the floor. Elsa almost tripped. Elsa walked to Anna, looking mad. Elsa was wearing a light blue شرٹ, قمیض and purple pants.

Anna was wearing a purple شرٹ, قمیض and گلابی pants. Anna کہا "Hi Elsa. What's up?"

Elsa کہا "Anna I have told آپ tons of time not to leave your stuff all over the floor."

Anna کہا "It's not all over the floor. I'm sure there are a few spots that don't have stuff on...

My opinion changes a lot almost weekly but every few months I update my پسندیدہ Disney Princess list, and I pretty much stick with it, until I update it again. This is my latest update of my Disney Princess list. Enjoy:)

14. Elsa

Honestly, she was sixth on my Disney Princess فہرست for a while, but I think that was the only length of time I actually liked Elsa. Other than that length of time, I've never really liked Elsa. I mean, I guess I like seeing so many girls relate to her, but I really don't like much about her.

She has a horrible personality, she blames everyone else for her problems,...
