Another Disney Princess on the way.....!!

Disney will soon introduce a new DP called Moana and I am super EXCITED !!!! This DP will be seen in the upcoming Disney Princess movie 'Moana' and it will be released on November 23, 2016 . Talking about the plot , this is what I have read :

" From Walt Disney اندازی حرکت Studios comes Moana, a sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. During her journey, she meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui , and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds "

I just read that Auli'i Cravalho is selected to voice Moana while Dwayne Johnson will voice Maui . The film will be directed سے طرف کی John Musker and Ron Clements, who were the directors of Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and The Princess and the Frog . I hope the movie would be interesting and Moana would have good character development . Some Disney شائقین are happy , some are not but let's see will this movie change their minds....

So , what are your thoughts about this new DP guys ?

laylastepford John Musker and Ron Clements also worked on The Black Cauldron and Hercules. I think a lot of Polynesian women might be offended at how big she is. They drew/animated her more Samoan yet call her Polynesian so they're already off. Additionally, her "animal sidekick" is a pig which makes no sense, since there were no pigs on the polynesian islands when this story is supposed to take place. So obviously it's already inaccurate and the team is known for non-traditionally feminine characters. I think this will just be another attempt at making a "femininist" princess as they've been trending to do as well as incorporate a "non-caucasian" princess for the sole reason that they're not caucasian. I think disney does their worst when trying to comply with political agendas and they do their best when they're only worried about making "disney magic". I hope they will make Moana more in the spirit of The Little Mermaid, one of the greatest DP movies of all time in my opinion, (as well as Hercules which also takes place in "ancient time" and done brilliantly in my opinion) and not repeat mistakes they made in Aladdin and The Princess & the Frog.
