Here's my quick ranking on original DP films in part 1 of this مضمون series. Part 2 will follow with all the sequels, prequels and shorts. Hope you'll enjoy it!

12. Princess and the frog:
I found the script to be very lazily written, with no wow moments to remember and no surprising twists. The movie crawled at deathly slow pace, making me skip scenes in between. The اندازی حرکت was pretty average with nothing memorable except a few scenes in bayou and death of Dr. Facilier. I found the sett ups to be unflattering and lacked the Disney magic feel to it. The best set-up from the entire movie was the Bayou wedding. The chemistry between Tiana and Naveen was also not emotional enough for me to remember it and their moment of love declaration was just flat. This is one of those فلمیں I have forgotten way too easily and have no fond memories. The best part of this فلمیں is its jazz موسیقی that brings a little upbeat feel to it, else it makes me feel drowsy all the way.

11. Cinderella:
There are some beautiful moments to this movie but مجموعی طور پر this again is a very slow paced script, not many pleasant surprises to look آگے to and the mice sequences are just annoying to watch. The best scenes are transformation and the ballroom dance. Love the classic ending as well. Love the songs "A dream is a wish your دل makes" and "So this is love". اندازی حرکت was very pleasing to watch but apart from Lady Tremaine, no other character is memorable enough. The mice sequences really put me off to watch it again.

10. Snow white and the seven dwarfs:
The script is great with twists and turns, a good mix of emotional, fun, drama sequences. Great characters - Evil Queen and Seven Dwarfs. I have learnt to respect the movie over the time because it was the first movie from Disney's folio and set the trend but it doesn't excite me enough to watch it again and again. There's no deep thoughts involved in characters یا script's flow and is pretty straight آگے to leave any scope of seeing it differently, once seen. And i really don't enjoy Snow's voice.

9. Pocahontas:
Again, a beautiful movie with its amazing animation, a good script (though historically incorrect), a great message, beautiful songs but where it lacks is its characters. There's no arc to any of the characters. I hated Poca;s and John's chemistry, it is so unconvincing and I completely failed to see what makes John so easily convinced with Poca's lifestyle. I loved this movie when I first watched it but ever since it is going down and down only. Instead of growing onto me, it has receded from my memories. There just isn;t any high point in the movie, everything is moving at the same pace in same tonality. The emotions are so muted to make it look mature that nothing remains memorable - not Kocoum's death, not Pocahontas meeting John, not the war.

8. Frozen:
Apart from the sloppy script, i actually quite enjoy many things in this movie. اندازی حرکت is beautiful, Arendelle is so gorgeously done capturing Norway's serenity inits truest essence. There are so many moments that makes me go aww, یا make me cry, surprises me, makes me laugh. I love many characters - Anna, Olaf, Kristoff. There's an interesting arc to the villain with its deceiving double پار, صلیب strategy. The relationship of Anna and Elsa is just a treat to watch - from childhood fun to growing apart to finding trust again. I love Anna and Kristoff's romance, organic and natural. I think Olaf is such a creative and original character written in years. I;m not really a پرستار of its songs though, my only پسندیدہ here is " Do آپ wanna build a snowman ". I'd have preferred Elsa's character to have been مزید thoroughly written. Her fear can be understood but why she suddenly seems to blow it all at coronation is just out of my understanding. Anti-climax is interesting and memorable with Hans doing a double پار, صلیب with 2 sisters and Olaf helping Anna. Climax is also sweet, with Anna sacrificing herself over choosing Kristoff, high on drama and emotions. I like the happy ending too, Duke being sent off, Kristoff and Anna being together, Elsa being comfortable with her powers and Arendelle is محفوظ and happy place.
What troubles me the trigger point of this movie - Elsa loosing her cool at coronation, which was very forced. It was least convincing reason and sudden Elsa's proclaim as the Ice Queen.

7. The Little Mermaid:
Coming to فلمیں that I completely love and adore. Amazing animation, characters are so memorable and endearing to watch - Ariel, Eric, Ursula, Flounder, songs are so awesome - Part of Your World and Under the Sea are evergreen songs from Disney, script is superbly written with great turns and surprises, full of fun, excitement, emotions and romance. The movie is full of wow moments - Part of your world reprise, Kiss the girl set-up. The only reason it is bit low on my فہرست is my personal less liking of the plot-line of a hopeless romantic teenager, fighting against an over-protective parent. Its typically a teenage romance drama and as a grown-up I find it less exciting to watch it over and over again.

6. Mulan:
An amazing movie with a wonderful story line of a girl wanting to bring honor to her family. I love how the story progresses and develops a bit سے طرف کی bit, with characters nicely woven into the movie and everyone having a convincing role and screen time that fits them perfectly. I love Mulan and Shang's chemistry, i love Mulan's different bonding with her different family members. Funny and memorable sidekicks - Mushu, Grandma, Army friend's of Mulan. Villain, Shan Yu, also has a well written, crisp dialogues and an impressionable personality. The flow of the movie is full of turns and surprises, have its beautiful and touching moments. The climax has all the drama - action and emotions powerfully woven together. I love its happy ending of Shang coming to propose Mulan and, short and sweet and very much endearing. And how Mulan presents the sword to her father, with his eyes filled with pride, make me go "aww". Great songs that supports the story and builds the momentum. I love how Mulan's and everyone's character develops in such a well thought-through way over the course of the movie, many people tend to miss Mulan's growth from the clumsy, under-confident girl to a respectful, strong, independent woman. I find it only a tad bit less on entertaining factor, only a tad bit.

5. Sleeping Beauty:
One of the most well-executed movies. The plot was so exciting and thrilling, full of turning points throughout the movie. The story develops in crisply written sequences and leave no room for it to become boring in long, lazy, unnecessary situations. Movie is filled with charming dance sequence, sweet and dreamy romance, witty sidekicks, amazing action sequences and high drama of Villain's entry and anti-climax of losing the princess to spell. Climax is also crisp and beautifully executed with a deserving fight between prince and the villain. And I simply adore the ending with happily ever after with a twist of witty touch - making Aurora's گاؤن, gown go to-and-fro between گلابی and blue. Characters of Maleficent and 3 good fairies are forever etched in my mind, one of the best DP characters ever created. My only regret with this movie is that it gave so less attention to Aurora's character. I think she has a great potential and should be explored سے طرف کی Disney even more.

4. Tangled:
I can watch this movie over and over and over and never get bored with it. A beautiful classic story with an amazing twist to characters. I simply love the progress of the story with Rapunzel dreaming and being denied, stumbling upon Eugene as a way out and how she grows in outside world. Sidekicks are nicely cued in - the bar thugs and Maximus. I love Eugene's and Rapunzel's chemistry - from naughty to trust and loving. Mother Gothel is a great villain and love Pascal's role as Rapunzel's confidante. I like how villain is actually in know of everything and is a step ahead of the protagonists. The redemption arc of Eugene is endearing to watch. Movie is full of adventurous twists with pleasing and funny moments along with stunning animation. Pascal and Eugene are very entertaining and has brilliant comic timing. Songs are a delight to listen to. I love the growth of Rapunzel's character as well - very relatable and believable. One of the best anti-climax with Eugene being imprisoned and Rapunzel returns to tower with Rapunzel going through self-realization. I always break down into tears at climax - with Rapunzel and Eugene saving each other's life. It is one of the most powerfully executed scene. My slightest of regret is how kingdom wasn't seen actively searching for their lost princess, over the entire movie.

3. Brave:
This story is a replica of my childhood and is very close to my heart. I love Merida's relation with her parents and her fiercely independent personality. I love the story's progress with a turning point تقسیم, الگ کریں and detailed in couple of sequence - breaking of betrothel news to Merida, Merida's rebel against marriage, Elinor turns into a bear. I love Merida's redemption arc from a whiny brat to a matured grown-up. I love how this فلمیں focuses on one of the most common issue among parents and child - communication and expectation gap. I always break down at the climax with Merida losing hope for his mother. Movie also shows an interesting sub-plot of Mor'Du. I love the concept of writing your own destiny as the movie's message. Stunning اندازی حرکت of Scottish Highlands and such a unique موسیقی of Scottish Gaelic, love both of them.

2. Beauty and the Beast:
A stunning masterpiece with grand animation, memorable characters, a crisp and moving storyline and amazing music. I love Belle's and Beast's chemistry and their relationship growth. It grows on me, watching them learn to trust each other and finding love out of misery and anger. There are so many moments in the movie, where one goes "awww" - Beast gifting Belle library, and sometimes it makes me cry - Beast let Belle go. One of the best WOW moment was the تاریخ of Beast and Belle, etched in my mind forever. I love Beast's complex character - he has rude, sometimes understanding, sometimes like a child taking advise from Mrs Potts and finally matures to learn to love and become responsible. One of the most memorable sidekicks - Lumiere and Cogsworth are one of the best duos. I love the message that one should not judge the book سے طرف کی its cover.

1. Aladdin:
Entertaining as hell! There's never been a time when I wouldn't have wanted to watch this movie. I love the concept of Arabian nights adventures, دکھانا the land filled with mystical and magical things. I love Agrabah's palace, inspired from Taj Mahal. The best characters ever - Genie, Abu, Carpet, Jafar, Aladdin, Jasmine. The romance is only a backdrop to the thrilling adventure of finding Genie's lamp and he's nothing like the one I had the impression of, but much much مزید than that. Aladdin is also my پسندیدہ prince, I just love his character for his brave, generous, under the skin sweet nature, love how he fumbles when he's nervous to express and so confident at other times. The story line is full of wow moments - emotional and اندازی حرکت both. موسیقی is so unique and beautiful. Overall, one of the best فلمیں produced سے طرف کی Disney, imo.

Love to hear from آپ all, as always!

Of all the things that are continually کہا about the princesses, this is the one that grates on me the most. Not only is it horribly untrue, but no one ever comes to Aurora's defense. Since I am tired and continually typing the same thing over and over again, I thought it would be مزید convenient to post my مضمون like this and just link to it whenever I need to. Remember guys, it's okay to have your own opinions. Doesn't mean those opinions are always right though.

Let's start out سے طرف کی defining a Mary Sue.

Too lazy to add all the pictures, Snow White's picture was the only one that was uploaded when I started adding تصاویر to this article

Snow White: link

This song totally suits her, mainly the first lyric "Running for her life", but some other ones too. Also the gasping in the beginning and towards...

Just a side note first: I am not trying to offend anyone with the jokes in the text, یا the captions under the pictures. They are put for the sole purpose of making the مضمون a bit مزید entertaining. So please do not feel offended سے طرف کی them!

10. AURORA
It's not that I hate Aurora. But I am not really fond of her. And it's not because...

The question, "Which princess do آپ think is the smartest?" is asked very often and every time it is asked, there are those people who pick Belle. There are the people who not only pick Belle, but comment, "Because she reads." Then, there are the people who think that is a dumb thing to say, and begin immediately saying stuff like, "She only reads fairy-tales." Every time this process has been repeated I have wanted to say something like what I am about to say, but never got the chance. So now I'm going to say it.

I think many people forget that Beauty and the Beast is not set in 2011. It isn't...

Ok so ariel was my 3rd پسندیدہ but then I re watched her movie and I have to admit she dropped way low I realized I loved her movie not really her as a person then Merida was my 13th but I moved her up because her actions were understandable anyway I'd thought I'd rant about it to get it out of my system and for someone to maybe change my mind *sorry for my grammar and/or spelling that might go wrong in this article*

Ariel has a lovely life under the sea however she likes the human world and discovers there stuff in shipwrecks and collects their junk. Now her father doesn't like that because...

So مجموعی طور پر the reaction to the princess redesign has been very positive. Minus a few cons I will discus.
I want to talk مزید about the subtle things the creators have put in which makes them special. So I put together this little review of the new designs
Keep in mind these are designed mostly for children's merchandise therefore yes the designs stray a bit from the original and the colors may seem too bright but these are for sales purposes. So I won't be criticizing the parts put in for sale designs
(All تصاویر at the bottom)

So lets start with Snow White:
Pros: Her face looks very pretty but...

Well, I have to say that this topic is very upsetting to me. I have never seen the movie Mulan as an insult to my nation. But it was. Although I can speak English, Russian and Spanish as well as Turkish, I am originally Azerbaijani and Turkish. And at this point I realize that Shan Yu is actually Turkish. Look. The first known Turkish State is the Asian Hun State and they are also known as "Huns" which is the nation of Shan Yu's army. Moreover, the Chinese built the Great دیوار of China to protect their homeland from the attacks of the Turks. I searched on the internet and it turned out that...

 I LOVE HER!
I LOVE HER!
My فہرست of پسندیدہ Disney Princesses has undergone a slight change. Moreover, this time I will start from 12, not 10.

12- Merida
The only princess I hate is Merida. Actually, she was one of my پسندیدہ princesses for a while, but as I got older, I started to dislike her. And right now Merida is at the worst place on my list.
Merida fans: Crying
Those who don't like Merida: Happy
I don't like Princess Merida because she thinks illogically and ruins her life despite her mother's efforts.

11- Aurora
Well Aurora is a much loved princess and I know آپ adore her but I... I don't like her very much. She...

10- Princess Mulan
Just being in the bottom of my list, doesn't make her VERY ugly. How can I say she is just... Less prettiest. I love her black hair and her eyes are pretty OK for me, but her eyebrows... They are very thick especially when she becomes a boy.
Also, her eyebrows are raised a lot higher than they should be, which makes her pretty ugly.

9- Princess Merida
I just adore the color and curve of her hair. But her face and eyes are too round. Especially her eyes. OMG, her eyes are like some strange balls. Her smile isn't ugly, but her teeth are very small.

8- Princess Esmeralda
