Okay, as promised! Here is the comparison both the 1998 animated feature as well as the 2020 live action reboot. Ready?

The Story

So we start of with the Invasion of the Huns in the animated film, as well as reporting the invasion to the Emperor. We see Mulan getting ready for the Matchmaker later on.
In the live action version, we see Mulan's childhood and even has a sister who is specially created for the film mainly for character developments. (tied)

The Characters

We get to see Mushu in the animated version, this is due to comic relief for the entire movie. He, Cri-Kee and Little Brother were not feature in the live-action reboot, however Cri-Kee takes the form of a phoenix instead. (Tied)
Mulan are both motivated, headstrong and positive throughout the movie. But in the live-action, it takes some times for her to be herself! (2020 Reboot)
Bori Khan is actually مزید vicious than Shan Yu and he even has مزید screen time, despite that the latter is my favourite Disney Villain aside from Maleficent and Chernaborg. (2020 Reboot)
Mulan's parents remain the same, but her father at least has مزید interaction in the reboot. (Tied)
We also get to see that the witch (her name slips out of mind), who manipulates the Emperor to challenge Bori Khan in a single combat. She betrays Khan in the end سے طرف کی sacrificing herself for Mulan! (1998)
Finally, Captain Shang reminds me of Captain Von Trapp in the animated version, in the live action reboot, both Commander Tung and Chen Honghui. (1998 version)

1998 یا 2020?

So, which version is your favourite? Leave your تبصرے in the تبصرہ section!

It has been so long since I did an مضمون on here and I felt like it's time to do something and be a part of the DP community.
Anyways, this فہرست might change after today so this would be a current list. So..don't be upset if your پسندیدہ movie is low.
I am also ranking them on animation, music and characters. So keep that in mind!~ (Also,no Frozen on this list. I haven't seen the movie yet.)

10) Beauty and the Beast.
Now,the movie wasn't too bad. It was just really really dull. The characters were meh and I just didn't see any development. The اندازی حرکت wasn't all that bad but it could have...

Right now I'm doing a countdown for which Disney Princess is the best role model, and I've seen some people not think they're the best role models, and since personally I see them as the three best role models, I'd like to explain why I think so. Also, I wanted to right an مضمون that was a bit مزید thought provoking other than another countdown and I was bored. I'll go through why each princess is a good role model individually, and at the end conclude what they all have in common, so let's get started! (I literally say "let's get started" یا "without further ado" for every single one of...

PERSONALITY OF AURORA (1/3)

Sleeping Beauty is tied with Cinderella for my سیکنڈ favourite princess movie (Snow White is first). Here is the personality of Aurora as how I see it when I watch Sleeping Beauty; mostly chronological.

1. Playful
2. Tender
3. Wondering
4. Fair
5. Rebellious

1 PLAYFUL

Contently doing chores, singing/humming to herself, Aurora smiles as she overhears her aunts:

Fauna:
Yes, but how are we going to get her out of the house?
Flora:
Oh, I’ll think of something.

Knowing that it’s her birthday, she puts them on the spot سے طرف کی playfully asking “Well,...

A common complaint against Ariel is how she changes herself یا gives up her fins, family and world for a guy. This doesn't bother me too much since the film establishes that she desperately wanted legs and life on land even before she saw Eric. Just listen to "Part of That World."

That's not the focus of this مضمون though. Another common criticism is how losing her voice and trying to woo Eric anyway sends a message to young girls that آپ don't need to have opinions یا a personality to get a man. That all آپ need is a pretty face.

I have two rebuttals for this argument.

First, one does not...

Here's my review of Frozen which I saw last Friday online so of course the quality of the movie wasn't amazing, but it didn't stop me from watching it. This is actually my first review so تبصرے are appreciated. And don't worry those of آپ of آپ who haven't seen the movie yet, this review won't contain any spoilers

Story - 10/10

I had high hopes for the story to be good and it was really good. The Snow Queen was one of my پسندیدہ fairytales when I was a child and this movie was a great twist on the classic fairytale. The story is not very complex, but also not too obvious. Like many...
