The tenth Mary Sue test. This one is for Mulan, who's called a Mary Sue sometimes (mostly سے طرف کی people who are کڑوا, تلخ about her popularity, but they kind of have a point, especially with how she's always portrayed as superior to all the other princesses).

Unique traits without contacts یا hair dye- Nope, she has black hair and brown eyes, common Chinese features.
An odd name- No. Actually, I'm not sure, but I'll just assume 'Mulan' is a common Chinese name.
Looks constantly شدہ تبصرہ on- No, at least not about how beautiful she is.
Always the hero- Definitely. It's kind of a دیا considering her movie, but she literally saves the entire country and is better than all of the other soldiers in the army, even Shang whose life she saves as well. 1.
Multiple characters falling for her- No, only Shang.
Gets into the relationship(s) she wants- No, her relationship with Shang definitely wasn't one of her main goals.
No flaws یا any flaws addressed یا causing a negative impact- No. Her clumsiness (though I do hate that as a fake flaw) causes her to think she'll never bring her family honor, along with her insecurity, incompetence (at first), and weakness.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- No, only after she earns it. Before that, they saw her as weak.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- No. She definitely earned the soldiers' love and trust.
Love and trust from closed-off characters- Yes, Shang, though reasonably. 1.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Yes, the three main male soldiers. They're the comic relief portrayed as bumbling and incompetent to make Mulan look stronger. 1.
A rival to make her look good- آپ know what, yes. While Shan Yu is the main villain and rival for all the soldiers, Mulan defeats him personally without any help. 1.
Never fails- No. Mulan failed the matchmaker test, keeping her identity a secret, and winning over the soldiers at first.
Never injured- No, her being injured was what led to her being revealed as a woman.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- Definitely not. Mulan definitely earned all the praise and rewards she received.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- Yes. It's unrealistic that Mulan was able to be the best soldier in the army, save Shang's life, defeat all the Huns, and personally defeat Shan Yu with no prior training before the army. 1.
Always figures things out- Yes. She figured out how to defeat the Hun army سے طرف کی aiming at the mountain and that the Huns were still alive. 1.
Kind but deadly- That's Mulan's entire character. 1.
Tragic backstory- Yes. Not as bad as some others, but she was told she wouldn't bring her family honor and never fit in. 1.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No, only fighting, and only after training.
Contradictory traits- No, Mulan's traits were pretty consistent, only after character development did she become stronger and wiser.
Always gets what she wants- Only سے طرف کی the end, where she brings her family honor and is respected سے طرف کی all of China, plus Shang and the other soldiers. Before that, though, she almost never got what she wanted. .5
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, she shows a lot of insecurity and sings a whole song about it.
A resurrection- No, but like Esmeralda, I'm adding half a point for waking up after unconsciousness. .5

That's 9 out of 24. That's a no. Mulan is not a Mary Sue, though she is a bit overly idealized and powerful. I can see why people would think she's too idealized, especially since the other princesses are constantly put down to praise her.

While the Princess Party line of DVD's had the goal of accompanying Disney Princess-themed parties, the Princess Stories line has the much مزید general purpose of serving as everyday entertainment for young girls everywhere. As a result, there's a significant dip in quality from the Party line to the Stories line. We're going to take and look and see just how bad that decline is!

DVD Content
Just like in my last review, I'll go over all of the categories of the DVD one at a time. But first, it's necessary to talk about the presentation. When آپ first pop in the disk, you're shown a young girl's...

Okay so some of آپ might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this مضمون but I still didn't want the tension یا drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" فہرست without offending anyone, I didn't write that مضمون and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an مجموعی طور پر attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do love the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most...

As I mentioned in its first part that this مضمون is for those princesses who got their wedding in original یا a sequel. I have re-imagined the gowns for all the princesses as honestly, I don't quite like the ones Disney has shown. The dresses lacks the effort as much as they deserve in my opinion. A princess wedding گاؤن, gown should be thoroughly thought through and designed. Cinderella's and Mulan's are سے طرف کی far the only wedding dress that actually fits their personality the most, in my opinion.

So here's my selection of the re-imagined wedding gowns for the remaining princesses.

1. Cinderella:

Okay so I have read multiple places on here that "Ariel just left her family for some guy she barely knew" and variations thereof. I coincidentally enough just watched this film within the last ماہ and remember it very freshly so I would like to contribute my opinion on this matter. First though, I would like to remind people: These Disney Princess films do not take place in a modern time and setting. Most of them take place over a 100 years پہلے and are during a time when most people were dead سے طرف کی 40 and half weren't even making it that long. To put it in perspective, the equivalent of a woman...

Hello guys! Here's the first part of the countdown dedicated to Disney Princesses Couples Month! All DP kisses were included. The most part of the kisses eliminated are from sequels, but there are also some kisses from original فلمیں that I've never expected to see out. The سیکنڈ part will be لوڈ اپ once the countdown will end!

31.Pocahontas and John Rolfe: First Kiss.

It was to be expected, this couple isn't appreciated a lot. Their faces weren't even seen when they kissed; definitively it's the worst DP kiss.

I hate Pocahontas with John Rolfe... ~LauraLane

30.Cinderella and Prince Charming:...

When I تبصرہ on one pick and other شائقین wonder why I say so, it inspires me to make an مضمون to explain مزید in the best way. I find a lot similarities of Elsa with Periwinkle (Secret of the Wings), Ralph and Vanellope (Wreck-it Ralph), Zarina (The Pirate Fairy), and Maleficent (Maleficent).

John Lasseter's Blue and Spikey "White" Hair
John Lasseter's Blue and Spikey "White" Hair

Similarities between Periwinkle & Elsa:
- Both have ice power
- Both ice are spreading quickly like آگ کے, آگ (okay, not definitely Periwinkle's ice but ice from Periwinkle's place)
- Both have white hairs, یا whatever platinum blonde which looks...

For such a successful and expensive film, Frozen's complete lack of diversity (particularly ethnic diversity) really vexed me. Frozen has four main human characters and out of the four:
- Four are white
- Four are all apparently straight
- Three are blonde
Looking at this, آپ can tell there is very little variation in Frozen's main cast. In ethnic terms, there really is no excuse of this. Frozen needed مزید POC.

I have heard one main argument (read: excuse) why Frozen didn't have any racially diverse characters (and no: I am not counting black background characters). Some say that Frozen...

One of the مضامین on my to do فہرست and I went with this one because I knew it wouldn't take me too long to make it. Anyway this is my personal opinion on the best Disney Princess singing voice and I have a feeling most will disagree with me but that's kind of something I'm used to.

12.Merida
 Peigi Barke
Peigi Barke
It turns out that Merida actually does sing in her movie, well sort of. Young Merida sings Noble Maiden Fair with her mother, which is a beautiful song. Now her voice is nice for a little kid but it can't compare to the other voices obviously. Also sorry to break it to آپ guys but we don't...

Forget about all of your opinions on Hans. Just for a منٹ forget about any of his scheming یا backstabbing that happens later in the movie. Imagine that آپ came into to this movie not expecting a villain, یا at the very least expecting Elsa to be a villain. What would be the impression آپ would have of Hans?

My bet is that it would be almost the exact same as Anna's. In the first گھنٹہ of the movie, Hans gives no implication that he is anything other than what he appears. A kind, gentlemanly, slightly awkward young man who is looking for a sense of adventure and a way to escape the overbearing...
