Black.
That's all Ariana saw when she had slipped under the water. But now, all she could see was blue.
She opened her eyes wider.
What kind of blue was this? She could see a haze of other colors, green and purple and reds at the sides of her vision, but all she was focused on now was the blue. It rippled and waved in front of her, never staying in motion for one second. What kind of blue was this?
She exhaled, and her eyes popped open wide when a haze of bubbles shot out of her mouth. She sat up wildly. Her hair shot up around her, but about 2 سیکنڈ too late. And it took forever to settle down. She was frozen in fear. What was going on?
She slowly raised her left arm. A string of bubbles raised up along with it, some clinging to her skin. She raised her right arm, the same happened. Suddenly, a shadow crossed over her arms. She looked up.
It was a fish.
Ariana screamed and pressed herself down and away. It couldn't be. It just couldn't. How could she be....she wouldn't even allow herself to think the word. She MUST be dreaming.
She sat up and looked down, and opened her mouth to scream again, but she was too horrified. No sound came out. She couldn't believe her eyes.
She could recognize her body up to her hips. But after that, the rest of her glittered and sparkled and seemed to take on a life of its own.
She had scales.
and fins.
