This scene is the one which sticks in my mind the most. It's such an incredible composition, conveying the sheer power and menace Cinderella feels from Lady Tremaine. Cinderella and Lady Tremaine never share the same frame, emphasizing how Lady Tremaine effortlessly projects her domination over Cinderella across any distance. The animation is subtle, and used like a surgeon's scalpel.

The "audience" to Cinderella and Tremaine's interaction consists exclusively of Lucifer, which adds the perfect amount of smugness and seriousness. The other scenes which include Cinderella's sisters seem girly and petty and jealous, but this scene, with just Tremaine and Lucifer, exudes pure sadictive malevolence.

At the very end, of course, there's just a touch of humor, which is a cute touch that does not diminish the effect of the rest of the scene. Instead, it demonstrates who's the boss, and that even the unfairly favored Lucifer is under the iron grip of Lady Tremaine.

"I have the other slipper!" I love this scene so much.

I always feel so dreamy after watching this one. I also like the parts with the king and Sing Sweet Nightingale.

I am a hopeless romantic! After dreaming about it for so long while being reated unfairly by her step famiy she finally meets someone. This scene is so cute and I love the song! :D
