I'm thinking of Merida and Ariel too they are like the same person too but people often hate Merida but love Ariel....urg why must disney be Awesome yet suck at the same time.

Anna and Ariel are both hyper active and there faces are similar And Merida and Ariel they both are red heads and fighting a parent But I find Merida better than Ariel And I find Rapunzel better than Anna No one likes a copycat (Anna) And no one likes a stupid person (Ariel)

@FabulousFan - There is much more to a character than a hyper attitude and a pretty face. Inside, Rapunzel is creative and passionate; Anna is optimistic and loving.

Just because characters have similarities doesn't mean they're the same person, not at all. Each of the Disney Princesses are unique, that's why we all have such different lists..

Well I did say they are LIKE the same person and it annoys me when people have them far apart on their list but I'm just asking you opinion on who you think is better even though I think they are the same

Anna is uniquely her own character and so is Rapunzel. Don't even get me started on how different Ariel and Merida is... their goals in life and motives are drastically different. Even their shade of red hair are very different. You wouldn't say that Snow White and Jasmine are the same person even though they both have black hair, would you?

What are you talking about? They're nothing like the same person. They share similarities, yes, but they're definitely not the same.

I don't think they're the same person. Rapunzel is more reserved and shy at first, while Anna is more outgoing and quirky from the get-go

They're similar in some ways, but definitely not the same. It's a close call for me, but I definitely prefer Rapunzel.

I prefer Anna by a wide margin! Anna is my favorite princess, while Rapunzel is ninth!

Anna feels more organic to me, and while she also comes from the all-the-former-princesses-put-in-a-blender background, she doesn't seem quite as contrived and does at least have a few flaws which jump immediately to mind. Neither is my absolute favorite, though.

Number one and three.
