Sometimes it can be odd hearing American accents when the setting is specified, like Beauty and the Beast. For the older films the neutral accents work because they were going for a more "timeless" appeal. As long as the accent is authentic (Brave, Princess and the Frog) then it works.

They have more beautiful and unique voices. I wish there were more DPs with accents.

For some reason I like the American voices. But then again they are edited during post-production.

Gives them a sense of culture, but my top 5 consist of American voice actors, plus voice never mattered in how I liked the character.

In a Country where English isn't one of the primary languages, I like it better with an American accent.
