anyway, maybe not VERY spoiled, but I agree with the rest 8804 said. but it's hard to say about the sisters. they may be rich but is it really spoiled when you don't get to do anything you want and are isolated to the point that both girls have emotional issues because of it?
also, most people don't think of it, but Belle has a very cushy life. Nice house, light chores to do, lots of freedom, she's popular, then is given total freedom in the castle and an entire huge library to herself. I'm not sure if that counts as genuinely spoiled or not, but that's pretty pampered next to what some of the girls have.
this is why I don't get why some modern fans act like the modern girls achieved so much, like they were had such hard lives and were so oppressed before when like 80% of them had cozy, well-off lives or were outright spoiled.
As for Elsa, she is spoiled because she has spent years being isolated from people, and has had all of this time to "build up lies about how people will react to her and her powers." Understandably, most of that fear was imparted by the trolls and her parents, but where do you suppose Elsa picked up her "romantic advice?" Do you think she dated anyone? Nope. Elsa "cooked up her notions about romantic love in her own brain." Conceited, a little? Elsa has also lived in the lap of luxury all of this time. Her parents gave her everything but her freedom--- JUST like Ariel, DING, DING--- but Elsa wants more!!! Elsa wants to release her powers without constantly being told that she is a monster for doing so. Elsa is spoiled for wanting the one thing she can't have, which makes her MORE LIKE Ariel, I guess...than people realize. So, yup, Elsa is spoiled.
Anna? Anna is an attention-craving, extroverted girl. People tell Anna ZILCH about why Elsa has to stay in her room. People tell Anna nothing about "romantic love," nor do they allow her to have any experiences, go anywhere, or see anything. Anna lives in the lap of luxury like her sister, but I'm sure, since no one helped Anna by imparting any wisdom, Anna grew up believing that anything "that came her way" she was "entitled to pursue"--- because her parents left no "direction for her life." Anna has this gigantic dearth of affection, and a vacuum of "emptiness" in her psychological health. No experiences at all will do that to you, I guess... Anna is spoiled for thinking the world should "give" her romance, and all the things she's been denied while being cooped up behind the castle walls. This is why Anna is ( in my sole opinion) so tight-fisted and clingy when it comes to her "notions" about love.
Um, Belle is spoiled, too. She has a comfortable life with her father ( and we never see a harsh word spoken by her dad to her), but Belle is not content. She, like Ariel and Anna, wants someone to "deliver more" excitement to her. I wish these characters did more than want stuff "delivered to them," or think people "owed them something." But since most, if not all of these characters are spoiled, it's not just a simple black and white answer. It's easy to pick out being spoiled in Ariel, Merida, and Jasmine. But I do see that quite a few of the Moderns are spoiled, just like the Renaissance princesses. Tiana definitely is spoiled, Elsa definitely is spoiled, Anna definitely is spoiled, and so is Merida. Rapunzel could also be called spoiled, since Gothel brings her paint for her wall, wax for candle-making, the few books she has, cloth for dress-making, and so forth. But Rapunzel... WANTS MORE. Sigh. See the pattern? I'm just seeing it now...all of the time...in most, if not all of them.
Whooooo... I digress. Sorry for a lengthy explanation.
