Feisty is with sassy on my list 'traits female characters are given instead of depth'. Instead of making them realistically strong, funny or self reliant they're made sassy or feisty to try to appeal to girls while not having to bother making any actually decent characters. Not that it's true of Jasmine (or even all characters described that way). Nothing against the traits we're supposed to associate with feistiness (wit, strength, independence) love them all, they just usually aren't done right in characters whose main characteristic is meant to be feistiness. It's an ok word to describe a character when used amongst fans or something, but if it ever comes from an official movie or character description, like a press release, then experience has taught me to translate 'feisty' to 'lazily written'.
