I don't know why people have such problems with Pocahontas and Princess and the Frog.I don't know why they have to be so prejudice against Pocahontas and Tiana,because of thier skin color! This is not the past anymore people so get over it! And I can't see why people have problem with with thier princes as well,is because they are not the same skin color of thier princess? If that's so that's wrong! I think that shouldn't matter what the color of someones skin is as long as you love them.Pocahontas feel in love with John Smith because of his heart and good spirt not because of what he look like.And it's almost the same way with Tiana,she didn't like Naveen at first but eventually feel in love with him because of his good heart and his determination to become a better person.And that's what should matter the most regardless of what your skin color and background is!

not in Disney, it doesn't matter the color of the skin believe me, like you said, we're not in the past anymore so ideas like this you can forget about.
Every one have their opinions, they could have problems with Snow White because they drawings are too old, or with The Little Mermaid because the have changed the original ending, and the list go on.
in my condition it's PatF simply because it's new and i have some reservations for it.
I just don't think .. no i'm sure that it has nothing to do with the color of the skin.

People think Pocahontas is boring and I don`t understand them...

Anyway, PATF, i have such a beef with this film. I won't list the multitude of reasons though.

I love this film and tons of people find it boring. It has fun songs, some funny lines, a great story and wonderful characters.

John Smith = awesome.
Colors of the Wind = awesome.
Sidekicks = painfully un-awesome. other than Wiggins, of course. i love Wiggins.
Everything else = bland with a capital BLAND.

I love Pocahontas. I think it's one of the most deep and mature Disney films, and I don't understand why people have a problem with it.
