No, he is an animal. For some one to be king, that person has to have kingdom. Kingdom has to be internationally accepted, same reason why Pocahontas isn't princess by any mean. And I don't thik other countries would accept savana as kingdom

I don't think a kingdom HAS to be internationally accepted. Merriam-Webster (sorry I have to get all technical and use a dictionary) defines kingdom as "a politically organized community or major territorial unit having a monarchical form of government headed by a king or queen". I think that description fits the scenario for TLK. Simba is the ruler of a specific territory, in which there are rules (laws) the "citizens" must abide by. I don't see why the territory Simba runs wouldn't be considered a kingdom, just because he's an animal.

Um, we learned in history what is necesessary for something to become knigdom, but I don't remeber it well, and i can't really express it on English. I'm pretty sure Simba and his kingdom doesn't fit the definition.

Okay, well to each her own. My argument is pointless anyway, because most people probably agree that Nala, as an animal, shouldn't be DP.

She's a queen and an animal. I think that there should be some sort of animal heroine lineup, for the "royalty" of Disney Animals.

In the movie, the Pridelands are considered Mufasa's/Simba's kingdom and both are considered king. It's a cartoon so let's roll with it. But I'm afraid I just can't imagine Nala in the lineup because she's a lion. I feel that she'd take up too much space, unless she was in front of all of them.

She was a princess, her mom died, her dad remarried, her dad died, the evil queen (her stepmother) was jealous and made her a servant to prevent her beauty from being well developed/known, Snow was beautiful anyways . . . and I think most of the world knows the rest thanks to Mr. Disney =)

I thought snow white was just a maiden. otherwise it's too much like cinderella. Hmm... guess I'm gonna have to watch the movies again. but about Nala I guess you can't really say she's a princess since Simba's king, but the fact that she's not human doesn't bother me at all plus she's HOTT, so all the power to her haha
